unfair
It was unfair for her to drop the ball on us. We didn't wanna deal with the fact that she lost a friend. Sure you did many a thing with this person and she was supposed to be nice, but no, she had to go and drop you. It was unfair for her to do that and unfair of you to drop it on us.
sunny
It was sunny when she opened her eyes. "I made it through the night?" she asked herself as she sat up. Sure enough she was still propped up against the tree, and the sun was peeping through the branches. "I actually made it through the night."
related
She could not believe that they were related. Her mother always told her to watch out, cause you just never know with Greek gods. But he was just so damn handsome. "Why did he have to be my cousin!" she shouted into the wind. "Cause this family is messed up," the wind called back.
kept
She kept looking over her shoulder. She was certain that she saw something. Maybe it was him....maybe it was the other one. "God", she prayed "Don't let it be the other him". She wouldn't be able to stand it if it where the other him. "I'm not going back to the asylum, not for that."
bound
He bound as fast as he could. His master was cheering him on from the stands. "I'M GOING TO WIN" thought the critter as it leaped and jumped through the last of the hoops. He was so happy, he couldn't stand it.
stem
The stem broke. He looked at the fallen flower as she broke another. "Why?" he asked slowly. "It was dead already and you need to be healed", she snapped another stem and dropped the flower head into the pot of water.
farther
He ran farther than he had ever ran before. Stopping he held his side, taking a deep breath. This time he would out run the monsters. This time he would beat the maze, win the prize. His sister came up behind him. "I can do it," she kept chanting.
