whiskey
Whiskey sours. That's what his breath smelt like; one too many whiskey sours. The sweetness of the liquour mixed with the bitterness of the sour washed over her as his lips attacked her neck, her mind silently willing him to stop.
created
We created this from nothing. From a few words, we created this intricate relationship. From hours talking every night, we've created this thing, this...existence that I cannot live without. We've created this from nothing; and I'm so glad we did.
none
None. None of this even matters. School, orientation, government affairs. None of it matters. The only thing that matters in life is the quality of relationships you establish, and with you, I want to establish the kind that lasts forever. No one compares to you. None of them.
beach
Beach. The beach is where I would kill to be right now. Sitting in a bathing suit, a trashy novel in my hand, a cold drink by my side. I'd get out of my chair and leap into the water, emerging seconds later before getting tackled into the sand by him. He laughs as I fight against him, our skin turning to powdered sugar as the sand clings to us like the way we cling to each other.
waltz
Waltz. And you would waltz me around the room without a care in the world, letting me step on your toes as you twirled me around and around. I remember those days Dad, and although we were never very good dancers, I learned a grace from you and our waltzing that still carries me today. Happy Father's Day, Dad.
leap
Loving you might take a leap of faith, but I'd jump three miles if that's what it took.
matching
Matching. It's hard to match someone's idea of what you think they want. Often, I find the direct approach is the best, and just asking what they want can't ever serve you wrong. But sometimes, every once in a while, you just know. And what they want is simply for you to be yourself.
fallout
Fallout. The fallout of your words has been intoxicating for you, but manageable for me. I learned to compartmentalize a long time ago, and so should you. Keep calm, and carry on.
driven
I am driven to succeed by my overwhelming desire to make a difference. A lot of people ask me where I get my drive to do what I do; its easy. I see things I can improve, so I try to improve it. I'm also driven by my childhood competition with my older sister, but that's another story.
wash
Wash. Wash yourself clean. I've made a lot of mistakes in life, and I've accidentally hurt a lot of people. It's a consequence of living by your own rules though; you never quite know the consequences. I wonder if its possible to wash it all away though. To completely, 100% start from scratch. I promise I'll play fair this time
