  2. i remember when you taught me the waltz and at first i couldn’t get it right, being as how i was so uncoordinated. but you waited patiently for the longest time until i finally learned and we would dance together in our little world, until we could hear nothing but each other’s footsteps and the beautiful, lilting music, clear as day.
i still remember how to waltz, i don’t think i’ll ever forget. but it’s just not the same when i’ve got no one to dance with.

  3. Don’t think, just write. Write specifically, if you are doing the waltz, don’t write, “I am dancing” write “I am waltzing” because your word picture is that much more clear. A waltz, after all, is very different from a polka or an electric slide or a ballet and yet they are all dances. Writing specifically is writing well.

He paused and grinned, quickly yelling, “YOU ACTUALLY LOOK LOVELY ALL THE TIME!” before he took off running down the hall, narrowly avoiding her flying kitchen utensils.

  11. waltzing is a great form of the art of dance. it is old and associated with an older generation, but still has endearing qualities. it is a dance that plays out a type of romantic game/chase, and can describe romantic relationships.

  24. Dance, dance with me until the world spins around us rather than us around it. We can look into the eyes of love, but they don’t compare to the beauty of yours. With you I’d waltz until every star in the night sky faded, and we were blinded by the abyss of the end or the universe.
