sticks
Sticks. Makes me think of boats, oddly. Minecraft, reasonwise. Also, spoons. And summer camp, all those years ago. Memories once bundled so close, now all strewn about...
smile
Smile... Hard to do lately. Makes me think of tater tots, though, because they're like those weird smiling potato things. Argh, this keyboard is weird. Do I hear crying outside? No smiling there...
swept
Swept. Swept under the rug. Swept clean. Secrets, hidden behind carpets, hidden behind doors. Forgiveness, remembering, grudges. Swept under the rug, so that everything looks nice. Swept under the rug, as though everything makes sense.
example
Example. Giving an example implies that you already know how it's done. Everybody thinks they know everything these days. For example, I have no idea. Because I don't know everything. Nobody does. Man, this is digressing away from example. Can you give me an example of what to write?
final
Final. The end. The big finish. Fine, suggests something small. But how can finality be anything but immense? One does not tend to go out like a lamb, I would hope. Or perhaps humanity has merely put far too much weight on death and what lies beyond. Perhaps finality really should be so fine.
specific
Specific? That could mean anything, heh. Makes me think of sig figs, the idea of only being as precise as the measurement allows. People like to deal in specific absolutes, not broad grey areas. I guess that's just how the world is. Be specific, direct; save everyone else from the pain of thinking about it.
basic
Basic. Seems kind of cheap, I guess. Basic vs premium, everything you want for just a bit of money. But it's also classy. Basic black. Minimalism is nice, sometimes. Kind of funny, basic and deluxe look just like what they are, plain and fancy.
cheap
Cheap? A cheap suit. A cheap businessman, in a cheap suit. Tweed, maybe there's patches on the elbows. I don't know. But he wants to get you in a cheap car, today. Cheap parts, cheap construction, cheap all the way. Until you land in the hospital, that's when things get a bit pricey because you bought dicey.
tables
Tables? Odd, that tables of data come to mind. The quintessential table is the table you put things on, not some tool of science. Although, normal tables still play a role in science. I mean, I'd hate to do a dissection on the floor. Although, I hate dissections in general. But tables!
barber
Barber? An interesting word. Barbers and hair stylists are a lot alike, but with wildly differing public images. I don't really know what to make of it. Stylists are generally seen as feminine, I guess, with barbers the masculine equal. But in an increasingly metrosexual society, can barbers still be loved?
