cheap
cheap that's 'the girl with red hat and no knickers' as my mother would say, apparently our Auntie Vi fell into that category and she came to no good. But I remember meeting her once, too much lipstick flimsy blouse with too much cleavage, but boy what fun she was. Cheap maybe, but you only live once...
strong
a raging wind that knocks me off my feet, has me clinging to a lamp post on the coast road, hardly daring to put my hand out of the bus shelter to stop the bus real danger of falling over the cliff.
tables
I love them, I have at least five, grandmothers old family table, very wobbly but it brings back memories of Christmas dinners after the war, Mother's heavy wood how she loved the fact we could all crowd around it for a family meal, then an aunts sewing table, a tiny table in the window. I'd squeeze them in anywhere.
outlet
a factory outlet in the town to buy some shoes or wedding gown, but then I'd need a guy to wed, but I'm miles to too tired so will stay in bed....
pills
I used to have perfume and books near my bedside, now it is packets and packets of pills and it isn't as if I am acutualy ill....just a sign I guess of getting older, I'd throw them away if I was a bit bolder.
wrench
No it is so hard to have been parted, I loved that woman and now she has gone forever, I don't begrudge her heaven, if there is one, but it seems unlikely and so far away, I may just have to keep her in my memory instead, as she was.
jelly
Jellyfish on the beach you don't see them at first but then a squidgy circle becomes faintly visible, if you haven't already stepped on it and felt it's indignation
rocket
Neat green leaves that grow easily in window boxes. Yum. Fiery fireworks spitting and buzzing. A big arguement
solved
the problems gone I know not how but threw a tantrum, kicked the cow
furnace
in the woods near Toulouse where the charcoal burners lived keeping the furnace burning, burning, never ending labour.
