playground
The little boy wearing the blue hooded fleece jacket ran up the slide, then he jumped over everyone's head down the ladder to the ground. He turned around and laughed at everyone else on the slide. I watched him with wonder, he was about the revolutionize playground play forever!
evidence
She walked up to the car, leaving the scene. Her red pumps were no longer the pure cherry red that they were when she arrived. The heal was discolored. It was the color of red and rust combined. It was the only piece of evidence from what happened to the man who tried to kill her.
salt
She turned to stir the stew. It was boiling aggressively. "I just don't understand why she would want to even try to take my man!" She said as she absentmindedly added salt to the beef goodness inside the pot. "Well, maybe you could just give her some of that stew and dry up her blood... with all of the salt you just added," I said.
mist
Jen walked down the dark street, and approached the sheet of mist. The trees seemed to circle down around her like a looming cave. Her breath began to quicken as her fear of what awaited her built up in her chest like a volcano waiting to erupt.
plaid
The man got out of the car wearing a blue, green and grey plaid shirt. Sure it look cozy and warm, but it was definitely lacking in excitement. I suppose for a blind date, it is good to know up front that he likes plaid!
limo
The group stood on the sidewalk. The girls in their six inch heels, and the boys fumbling with their cumberbuns. Where did the driver go? The prom group had just finished their dinner at Red Lobster. The driver must have thought his job driving the limo was done!
torch
I entered the cave very slowly as to not lose my footing. I inched along the wall with my hand feeling along for what I knew had to be there. Once my fingers touched cold brass, I slowly moved my hand to the handle and pulled the torch out of the bracket.
curious
The curious cat slinked along the window sill, flicking his tail with every carefully placed step. He eyes darted around the garden as it followed the robins. The bird bath was three feet away. All he had to do was pounce right when the bird took flight from the water.
glowing
The street light was warming the damp street with its glow. Sylvia walked under its cheery light before walking on into the dreary night.
eyeliner
I looked into the mirror, the permanent eyeliner was only one day old. I couldn't believe how much it accented my eyes. I was also grateful for the free time from applying eyeliner every day. I skipped away from the mirror, happy with my choice.
