crew
we went to see the social network, and she said "i want to hook up with a hot twin on the crew team." that night she hooked up with my best friend, after i told her i might have feelings for him. and i hooked up with a hot twin on the crew team. true story.
eyeliner
she loads on the eyeliner, silently praying that today he will notice her, think she's pretty. but he's too preoccupied. another let down, another disappointment. the worst feeling in the world: knowing that you care so much more about someone than they care about you.
intersection
our fate is drawn out on a single path that we will follow willingly or not. what makes it special are the people whose paths intersect with ours. i sound like a fortune cookie.
gadget
sometimes gadgets are cool, but mostly they're just useless. ipad? "if you don't have an iphone, you don't have an iphone." really? thats the best your marketing team could come up with? or "the only phone you can surf the web and talk at the same time." i have a computer to go on the internet, and a phone to make calls. i'm all set. i've survived this long without your gadgets, and i will continue to.
whiskey
Burn. Buzz. Regret. Rinse. Repeat.
gasoline
we try and cut back, or say we will, but we it's just not practical or realistic to cut it out of our lives. we waste tons of money on it and are utterly dependent. we just keep hurting ourselves.
severe
The difference between what we used to be and the way you look at me now. You went from being my friend and grateful for me, to being cold, indifferent and severe.
