montage
The rain fell down in the background. "Let's do it again, people!" The director shouted. "Take 14" someone said and another girl laughed while tripping into line. "You know," The director said, "This montage would have been a lot faster if you hadn't all gone out for lunch."
pretzel
Is that really how you spell pretzel? It looks funny. Mind you, us dyslexics can't spell much of anything. Pretzels were originally made as a Christian symbol. The arms are crossed in prayer and the three holes represent father son and holy spirit.
domestic
The cat crept slowly along the driveway and out into the field. She didn't know that her orange patchy fur stood out like a polar bear on asphalt. It didn't matter though, as long as she had a food dish at home the birds that got away were just a game.
wasteland
Simba looked across the kingdom that he had once expected to be his. "What happened?" The hienas took over after you left." Nala told him. His sad gaze turned into a look of determination as he realized what he needed to do.
bones
There they were. In the middle of a field. Clean, but not as if they'd been gnawed on. Wow. After a moment he took off his jacket and wrapped them up. A whole deer. How often do you find that?
eyeliner
She looked down the long isle. On either side it was lined with beauty products, or "beauty" products, as her dad would tell her. She smiled to herself and pushed her cart forward, thinking of the river and the mountains and the sweet smell of sunshine.
deadbolt
She slid back the deadbolt and the door creaked open. Inside the room was a lot of straw and a dog and, yes it was, a little boy. "Jimmie?" she asked. The boy did not stir and she tentatively crouched down to tap his foot.
trailer
She stopped outside the theater and looked at the posters advertising the newest releases. One looked good but she hadn't seen the trailer. She supposed it didn't matter though, movies weren't really her thing. She took a deep breath and stepped inside.
trailer
The truck hit a bump causing the passengers to hit the ceiling. "Whoa! That was awesome!" One shouted from the backseat that was piled high with boxes, now toppled over. Though the truck seemed lighter not one noticed they were missing something.
trailer
She stood up, hitting her head again on the low ceiling. She tripped out the door and stood next to her temporary home. This was fun. Living in the woods. No running water. Lots of fun. Right?
