There was only one thing out there in that wasteland – vampires. Thousands of disgusting, blood-sucking vampires. And I was going to have to kill them, somehow, using all manner of cactus-based weaponry.

an awful place. i envision mountains of trash and debris. it probably smells. but i also think of a place that was forgotten or deserted. people lived here once but now have moved on to another place or have possibly perished. it could be ones mind and how they’ve desrted that as well. some people have so much potential but ignore it. this is a wasteland.

Stricken with waste. No way out. No one can survive here. It’s a big mess. What our world we love so dearly is turning in to. We can’t stop it. There’s no way. We’re stuck here forever. We have to make a change. Do something about it. We can’t live like this. We must escape.

Patty lay on her Disney Princess bed with her silly pink slippers listening to “Teenage Wasteland”. She was poised to shoot up when her so-called mother put her silicone-plumped lips to her bedroom door like it was a mic and hollered into it. It sounded like “Ahee oheh ah uhin oh!” Patty ripped off her tourniquet and hid her gear. “NO!” she hollered back. Then she heard “Ah ih ooh ay!” and the tip of an axe blade sliced through door. And she knew “The exodus is here.”

A wasteland stretching before one who is alone and decrepit, afraid. The rocks beneath his soles dig into the flesh and stick, dropping off as he walks, and the shrubs have thorns that scratch and bit and claw, but he goes on, mouth hanging open, arms limp.

Wasteland- a barren place, deserted. A place where old thoughts come and go. A place where unused things, unloved, also end up. It could be deserted to those things that have ended up there, but then again, things that are left here together become united. A wasteland, a place for the unwanted, but also where the unwanted are brought together.

A place where nothing grows. where knowledge and imagination go to die. deserted.

the american wasteland: zombies have taken over north america. only a few surviving vigilantes remain. many of the people you knew and loved are zombies. you are holed up in a mall with dwindling supplies and a group of people. one of you must go.

Everyone thinks this place is a wasteland. But they just don’t know what they’re looking at. They don’t see the potential that is all around them. All they see is the problems. If they could take a second and stop looking at what’s wrong and instead see what they could do right they wouldn’t think it’s a wasteland, they’d know it was something much more than that.

I feel if we don’t take care of our world before we know it, it will become a wasteland and it will be too late to restore it to what it once was.

My back yard. I cant move around without bumping into something else. Too many toys. Sanford and Son scrap stuff all around. Bad first impression. I often wonder what people think as they drive by, esp the school bus kids! I need a makeover. The 7 month ago flood has left debris and I am to lazy to clean it up. And too busy. We found things unearthed from years of dumping trash in our back yard. Not us.
