  1. Hmmm… At first glance it makes me think of the word MONTAGNE in French for mountains. But I know that’s not what it actually means. Assembly… Makes me think of 1st grade dioramas, posters and collages. Aaaaaah childhood. Seems so long ago!

  2. She looked at the montage of videos before her and wanted to cry. There were videos from their time of dating, their wedding, the birth of their first, second, and final child, videos of everything really. She sat there thumbing through them and picked the one of their wedding, popping it into the VCR and sitting back on the couch, cuddling with the dog, the only thing she had left since the divorce.

  3. Is an eloquent way of deliberating on the difficult process of story telling. I need a moment to collect my thoughts, in the meantime entertain yourself with this montage. Queue theme song from top gun. Everybody loves a montage. It reminds me of that French painter. Everyone looks good from a distance. Everything seems easy when your about to fall asleep.

  4. everything together in one. a brilliant flowing of creative juices placed in a haphazard mix of ins and outs, ups and downs, and even lefts and rights. everything together in one.

  5. The montage of my life is in pieces on the floor. It’s going to take me a while to pick them up, much like 52 pick up. You see, when you see your work dismembered, lying still on the hard cement floor, it’s hard to find the motivation to put it back together. You wait for someone to do it for you, but the truth is, it’s your project and only you can find the glue to make a new montage.

  6. My daughter takes so many pictures when we are visiting different places, that it really feels like you’ve been there, when you look through them. She has a great way of capturing things, feelings and emotions with her camera.

  7. Well montage can mean a lot of things but it depends on the perspective you have from that context. For me montage its a way of sorting things the way you want them to be, like customizing your perspective to match your ideas.

  8. the pictures flashed in front of her eyes, brought on by the booze and the headwound. To be honest she didn’t know which was worse. The montage of her life was filled with images of battle, love, and most of all her ship. Captain Constance Gray of the Covenant found herself looking at her life, facing her death, and wanting for nothing.

  9. a group of things that go together somehow. a collection of things you love. a mosaic of pebbles that form a picture, what could be more of a montage. yeah.

  11. “Do we have time for a movie montage” the character says on screen. You look at me and your face tells how stupid you think this movie is. But, you don’t say anything, because you know it’s one of my favorites. I make a mental note to not say anything the next time we end up watching soccer or some other sport.

  12. a pretty pink pony that lives in planet neon and eats butterflies and poops rainbows. has a best friend that is dog and loves pink!!

  13. A huge montage of images flew past her eyes. Images of memories, forgotten and treasured. Her first and last day at the park, coming home mad and injured at the children who punished her for being different. Her first and last time baking with her grandma, the happiness of the memory savored when her grandma died a week later.

  14. montage is like a group of photographs. they are used in mitzvahs, or not mitzvahs. they also have them at weddings, funerals, and other monumental occasions. I don’t really know what else to say about these. They contain both videos and photographs. I have been in multiple montages.

    by Sara on 06.01.2011
  15. When there’s not enough time in a movie to put all the full sequences through, you need a montage to condense a lot of progress and information into a very short amount of time. This was proven useful and fully expressed during that one South Park episode. I think it was about skiing. It really does help.

  16. a film. Try to capture the moments you never want to lose. Find a good time to start and never stop. The simple moments are worth keeping… forever.

    by moirakate on 06.01.2011
  17. What moments would you include in the montage of your life?
Memento mori and cherish while you can.

  18. Another cheesy movie montage. But they made her happy for some inexplicable reason, and I couldn’t help but smile at her as she danced around in my boxers pretending to be Katherine Heigle or which ever romantic comedy star TBS was currently displaying. It is so funny how fast falling in love can change a person.

  19. A million pieces thrown with thought together; a life of tiny snapshots and paint splatters, ripped and burned edges, broken centers that have been hammered into time and again – a mess of art.

  20. After you left, a montage of moments came through my mind. Moments from when we were together, moments of what I hope will happen in the future, just a montage of you and me. Our song came on the radio that day, I screamed the lyrics off the top of my lungs and cried. Another montage of you and me.

  21. A montage is like memories played back in your head when you know things have come to an end and all you can do is look back over them with smiles. A montage is the only way to end something i think. It sums up years in a few seconds with little details.

  23. A montage is a film sequence of different shots compiled to illustrate one particular concept. One interesting example of the montage can be seen in the American classic, Orson Wells’ Citizen Kane.

  24. It’s the moment you know your favorite character is getting killed off, the second you realize your show has jumped the shark. Everything is a little lamer when set to music, but people seem to eat it up. What if real life had montages, and just before you said goodbye to someone for the last time the music swelled and your shared memories flashed before your eyes. Would you have the right last words as they closed the door and walked away?

  25. my mind is filled with all of my memories of you. from years ago, til yesterday just past 2. and i’m finding you or rather losing you these days. you didn’t give me a reason, you just left me to grow old alone. and my eyes cannot cry anymore tears because you made light of all of my fears, all my fears i had so shamelessly invested into your heart. i should have known from the start you would eventually part from me; and i’m left with a montage of all we made and all that we could have been.

  26. montage is a song that i write to you. a message from my heart that every pieces that you’ve collected are my little will

  27. The rain fell down in the background.
“Let’s do it again, people!” The director shouted.
“Take 14” someone said and another girl laughed while tripping into line.
“You know,” The director said, “This montage would have been a lot faster if you hadn’t all gone out for lunch.”

  28. Masses
    Of unorganized stuff
    Neatly arranged
    To tell
    A story that will
    Generate
    Emotions

  29. As Chris lay in the dentists chair, a montage of experiences and feelings overcame her. She was laying down staring up at that bright light…almost like dying. Should she go towards the light? No. She had to stay in the chair. While a little piece of her was going to die when the dentist pulled her wisdom tooth out, the rest of her would keep on going. Oh, the little death. Is this what getting old is like? Little pieces of you dying?

  30. Time stood still, I was still in the process of falling, out of control, when the montage of my life began to play in my mind. Suddenly, I didn’t care about falling or what would happen after I landed, all I wanted to experience was this movie of my life showing Mom, Dad, a favorite yellow bathtub ducky, a wind up Santa Claus Christmas present and my gold plastic high heels that looked so silly on a four year old. Oddly enough, older brother did not make a cameo appearance in my life’s story!

  31. I still don’t know what this word means. But I do know that makes my dick a little hard. I’m guessing it French based on the age ending. I kind of want to have sex on some black sheets with a chandelier over head with a women that’s kinda mean and craves cigs.

  32. I used to work at a resturant named montage. It went out of business quickly, i think it means to be unique-but i love movie montages when someone is training for a big match or the like. I hate movie montages when people are in dressing rooms trying on different outfits. It is horrible.

  35. I have no idea what this word means. It sounds almost like “Montag” which is the last name of Heidi…a reality TV star who is currently married to one big doucebag,

I hate Douchebags, guys that promise to never cheat, to be real….they never are. Everyone in this world has a Spencer….just like Heidi.

  39. It was a collection of rare photographs that got her interested. A montage of all her past roller derby bouts; they spoke to her inner power, which she released with a sigh. She couldn’t wait until the knee surgery was finally over so she could return to the ring.

  40. Peter had been watching this montage for weeks. An adolescent girl would wander across the baseball diamond, barefoot, carrying a pair of flats in one hand.

“I worry about her,” he said aloud, as the girl chose her favourite blue swing.

His wife had stopped answering. That year would pass in myriad and impatience, measured in tiny squares from his wife’s Diana Ross calendar. She would keep x-ing, the girl would keep swinging, and Peter would keep watching. It was a cycle he sometimes pretended to hate.
