clean
For many, the word clean implides hygiene and order. For me, the term clean is a reference to no loose ends and that everything is tight. Clean means something is ready to go and fully operational.
scent
Scent... the often overlooked of the senses. Yet, scent is so powerful. A smell can bring back memories of days long gone by, intoxicate you with the pheromones it contains, or instill a physical reaction requiring you to get air!
bully
If there a single fear that keeps me up at night, it is that my daughter experiences a bully while going to school. As a proud father, I worry about the short term and long term implications of such an experience!
choir
I have never participated or seen a choir in person. For me, it is not something that is of interest. I do not take away from the talent or pleasure the participants get, however it is not something that interests me.
contained
Contained, by its very definition, implies being restricted or limited. While this is often a good and necessary thing, too often we contain what shouldn't be restricted. For instance, the laughter or enjoyment of child should never be contained.
judgment
Never before has society been more judging than it is now. We tend to want to examine others with the intent on passing critical judgement as quickly as possible regardless of the presence of facts and detail.
stagnate
If there is one thing that I both revile and fear, is to be stagnate. Being stagnate means that you're not growing and developing. To me, if you're not growing and developing, that means you're dying. No matter the ability, age, maturity, I always want to keep growing.
duration
Duration, for me, represents many different things. It can be a work effort, a period of time, it can also be a sliver of activity.
blaming
We now live in a judging and blaming society. No longer to we stand up and take accountability for our actions nor the environment we create. We have lost the ability to be self-sufficient and respond to the setbacks that life puts to us. We need to reclaim this lost art.
slivers
Time, for me, seems to be broken into slivers. Slivers of attention, focus, tasks, conversations. No longer is there a dedicated portion of time for such items. Instead, we only allow slivers of time.
