spider
They say if you are scared of spiders you should tattoo one on yourself, somewhere where you'll see it a lot. They suspect you'll get used to the image and when you see a real spider, you won't be as scared. My room mate swears it's working for her, maybe, or maybe it's because we get sprayed for that kind of thing?
whim
On a whim I texted you. I planned not to, but then , last minute I did. Something cosmic happened and your response was perfect.
summer
It was 34 degrees lastnight. I was burning up like the middle of summer . Outside, I couldn't feel my fingers, but I could feel your fingers on my frozen skin.
wake
When I wake up, I want it to be for a natural reason. I want to have to pee, or eat, or write or draw or anything. Almost every day I wake up to my same stupid friend calling at an awful time.
blotches
I asked him if he was nervous (because I was) and he told me no. I saw the red blotches on his chest, an obvious sign of nervousness. Why did he lie? No time to think about that as his lips slide against mine. He flips us over, intensity in his eyes as he thrusts forward to make me forget.
