rally
Rally forth and hold the banner of your own colors high! Let not your pace nor your spirit falter! Life is much too short to give way at the walls of uncertainty and doubt! Too precarious to have its gates of ignorance and misdirection keep us out from attaining the true treasure of wisdom within its mysteries! That is why we must give it our all and tear the wall down, either piece by piece or in one great push! So let the struggle shape the person that you are, and raise those banners once more!

clipped
Holding to virtue allows anyone to soar above the hardships that try to pull them down. Even if one's metaphorical "wings" have been clipped in an attempt to prevent their flight, the act of walking alone, with a head raised with steadfast optimism, can be as graceful as any venture in the skies.
insect
"How does he carry on so? Living in a world he seems not to know?" "He is akin to an insect scurrying on to and fro...yet he insists on playing the act out to the every end even when the stage was never his to play; how he's made it this far, to this day, without being pressed under another's heel, neither I nor him shall ever know."
ant
"And all the world shall be to you that which I see it...swarming en masse with innumerable men and women seeking all the same path as one another to the very same conclusion." "And what is the conclusion that they wish to reach?" I inquired earnestly. A small smile appeared, "If never you cease to inquire and know, in time, on achieving resilience in life, you will gain the wisdom of what even the smallest ant can show."
sponge
My senses drew me in, absorbing me completely; like being caught in an overstated sponge. I was carried, you see, further and further to where I needed to be. Who could tell me what I was destined to see? Who among you would ever seek in earnest the meaning to your own downfall, and how it was not from without but from within that the foundation of your very being fell as a result of its own design?
avenue
Down one avenue and into another, I felt the rush. The excitement. The pulse pounding feeling when you've been given a second chance in life. Whether the road I now traveled lead me anywhere better mattered not; for I was alive, and I couldn't have desired nothing greater to be bestowed upon me.
chance
It was by Chance that we met. Chance alone that we would become friends. From friends, it was Chance that led us to be lovers. And from our passion, it was Chance that would eventually hold us in our everlasting embrace...and our everlasting slumber.
force
It pulled me further and further in. A force strong enough to render any effort worthless. The more I struggled and strained, the more I found myself being pulled under. So long as I strove to drive against the inevitable, the greater force would always be the measure brought against me to encounter and overcome what I must.
silk
Like emotions put to thread, silk can be both delicate and firm. Be one lost in passion, or abject to steadfast anger, it wears the colors of a person's soul.
