velvet
we lived in a velvet world. i took a velvet seat and stroked her velvet skin. she kissed my velvet lips and we fell onto the velvet bed..
tide
i ran, crawled, walked, slithered on - i just had to keep going. back and forth. the moon high in the night sky; i felt it pull at my insides, my very blood. much like the tides, it had complete control over me.
bleach
there was a burn in my stomach, much like a fire, which could light up this whole town. it was a white hot flame, and it cleansed like an agent i've forgotten the name of - but it's not at all pleasant.
without
'we swallowed the birds, gullets and all' is what you quoted so sophisticatedly last night, clothes everywhere, me sitting on the windowsill at 3am smoking with the moon and you, you lying back in bed. frankly i could do without your philosophical tid bits now and again.
leap
a faux flight. it could be so much more beautiful, but you always hit the ground again.
matching
we walked, step by step, all over the earth - through universes and galaxies, airways and heavens without even moving. we never moved an inch, but we went there.
matching
we had matching clogs. light brown, a little mouldy, but that was okay. we walked together across seemingly endless fields of daisies for days, just to get back home. i would do it all over again. just to see...
fallout
through the roof and into the underground, we fell. endlessly tumbling and spiralling to something... we haven't quite figured out what, just yet.
