ringing
ringing in my ears buzzing that won't go away can't focus can't sleep please go away please let me rest bring me peace leave me be
established
i thought we had some trust established i thought this was built on promises and hope in each other i thought you wouldn't be the one to be mad when you were the one to break a promise you turn it all back on you "i'm sorry i'm so terrible" "i'm sorry i couldn't be better for you" why am i comforting you when you were the one who broke the promise?
outlet
i write, i draw, i sing, i listen to music. better outlets than other old habits.
hillside
leaning against your side, staring up at the stars. a midnight picnic on a flower filled hillside. precious moments with you.
insults
sticks and stones may break my bones but words will /always/ hurt me. people seem to forget the impact of their remarks, how one little comment can stick in the back of someone's mind for ages.
polite
polite. a simple smile. polite. a kind gesture. polite. holding my hand. polite. holding me close. polite. keeping me safe. polite. making me happy.
seatbelt
keep me safe keep me secure don't let me go be my seatbelt
itchy
bugs under my skin, scratch until they come out, or until the blood runs, whichever comes first.
motel
long car rides into night time skies. adventures with family, seeing things i've never seen before, breakfast - not always good, but very welcome before yet another long car ride.
conflict
