  5. Distractions are everywhere. From Facebook to TV, they keep you from every day tasks. College students seem to find the best distractions which lead to procrastination of homework which is exactly what I’m doing right now.

  8. The worst distraction for me is bookcrossing. I love setting books free and sharing them with the rest of the world, but it takes up a lot of time and I find I’ll settle down to do something and then think, “I’ll just sort this book out” and before I know it, I have used up all the time I had set aside for doing what I set out to do.

  9. it’s pretty easy for me to get distracted when i do any sort of work. the internet is the best place for that, actually. take right now, for instance, i should be getting ready for the day; instead, i’m typing this silly stuff on the internet.

  11. So much to distract me in the moment. That buzzing fly, the warm puppy sleeping on my lap, the clock pulling at me…. All of these things demanding my attention, wanting that I leave this moment of time and move into the unknown of the next one.

  24. the best way to deviate from times of trouble. Distraction is a pure form of therapy, distract yourself with anything, to take you away from all that hurts. Art, photography and the company of good friends can be perfect distractions, even from distractions!! Sidetrack, .. disturb, take away from yourself the bad things.

  30. i wish i could be distracted less easily. it would probably be helpful to be able to focus and stay on track and get my work done. it would keep all the different parts of my life in life, i get distracted about work, going out, talking to people, in conversations, by different boys. i need to pick a path and stay on it. although, how much fun would that be? not that much.
