  2. I don’t celebrate my family and friends enough. People do not celebrate enough love, but so much hate. So much war. So raise your glass to celebrate everyone / thing in your life! I personally celebrate conan o’brien, waking to the sound of birds, and when the sun breaks through the clouds. I celebrate life and the joy of being alive.

  4. I suppose I should look happier, excited.
Two of my best friends just got married
And I’m pathetically moping in the corner.
I was so looking forward to this day,
My friends very much deserve it to be perfect.
    But he brought her,
And it’s all I can think about.
The bride gives me a look that says many things.
    It’s apologetic
    But also pleading.
“Please don’t have bad memories of my wedding.”
So I get up and celebrate
    My heart break.

  7. Fun. Celebration reminds me of bright colors. Lots of people. Food. Family and friends. People you love. Surrounded by happiness and euphoria. Usually little kids running around and adults talking about sports. Maybe sun dresses and the colors red and yellow. Flip flops. Lakes and beaches. Cake and ice cream maybe?

  9. Once a year we used to gather at this table. Everyone who was anyone in my family, sitting together. Talk is a lot more than what it is given credit for. Stories from the past and plans for the future were shared. I learned so much those cold nights with my family. Food and spirits brought us there, but celebration of each other kept us. Now that time has passed, those people no longer come to my table. Busy, removed from this society, or dead, they lack the presence necessary to celebrate with us. The time has come for me to find a new celebration.

  12. And we celebrate. Those who step on the needy and the hungry. Those who let go the barriers of social anxiety and allow themselves to be heralded as the highest. Those with no humble spirit. We celebrate them for all they are worth. Which in the end is little. In the end is nothing at all.

  14. This was surely a cause for celebration.
The dictator was dead, felled by five arrows. The archers in turn had been executed by the guards, of course, but the guards could not stop the people from rejoicing.
Unfortunately, they had other ways to prevent happiness. They were not to be trifled with, for they alone were trained to work with mages.

  24. Celebrate. Parties, birthdays, festivals jump to mind. I’ve never been one for celebrations. I’ve always been one to stay out of the spotlight; I’d rather just sit in a corner and read a good book. Or go out for dinner with my friends and family. I don’t like festive occasions save for the big ones- Christmas, Thanksgiving.

Maybe I just don’t want to celebrate because it means being happy. I hate being happy.
