I took my camera and went down into the woods. I saw a deer standing there, motionless, looking at me. I held my camera up to my eyes. Click, click, click. I moved a little bit. A tree was blocking my view. The deer saw the movement and was gone. One minute she was there, the next she had disappeared.

The camera has always intrigued me. How can one little device creature pictures on a box for the world to know? Who thought of such a thing? Even the radio and telephones really creep me out because technology seems so unnatural. I couldn’t even dare to think about how inventions came into the world.
There’s a song I really like to listen to when I’m feeling pensive and kinda depressed. It’s performed by Lana Del Rey. She has a characteristically smoky voice.
The song is called “Without You”, and one of the lines goes like this:

me and my cousins broke my dads digital camera and he flipped i want a nikon d6100 for christmas because atm i have a stupid cheapy camcorder and i see a lot of horsey youtubers making amazing films with their high tech slr cameras and its unfair:(
Sandra pushed her sandy hair back from her face, Before they could move again she brought the camera back up to her fsh, focused, and snapped the picture. Once again the shutter sound flustered the small birds.
She ran around the world with her camera, taking snapshots of places and people. And once, she took a picture of herself with a smile on her face. But when she looked back on the same picture years on, she thought it was when she was happy. But even that smile was once fake.
is a very useful item that can be used to take pictures i want a nikon d3100 for christmas and i would like a 1.5mm lense pack aswell please thanks i have a camcorder but it is rubbish and i scratched it with a pin so it looks cheap and plastic. i love them so much and i like to watch horsey youtubers take videos and show off their cameras and stuff it is so fun hehe i might be getting one either for christmas orrmy birthday. my dad had a digital camera but i accidently broke it with my cousin.

A camera captures a million things, both beautiful, and not so stunning. Whether the photograph taken is beautiful or not, you may decide. Opinions are not always allowed to be voiced freely, Because some times people will disagree with you, or even hate you for what you’ve said, and I find this disgusting. I find it confusing and harsh that no human being has entirely a right to say what they like, be it crude or perhaps exceptionally boring. Something as simple as ”Do you like my new camera?” – ”No, it’s an ugly color” could get you in trouble, deep trouble.
Say Cheese! She says- so cliche I think, and the camera catches my eye roll in perfect timing. I was such a brat then. Why couldn’t I have realized that some day. Today. She’d be gone and I’d crave one of her ‘family fun days’ that used to embarrass the hell out of me.
the camera is the killer. the pictures stained in sun and a love that is no more. i can’t look through the lense of our love anymore. I must put it down. I can not look at our pictures and long for the glassy shell of our summer. you and i. i and you.

Then for the one last time, I felt the weight of the camera in my hands before I pass it right into yours. And for that moment, I was sure, that time had already begun to pixelate my almost lover.

i love these. they take pictures of shit. i remember having to make one in school when i was younger. i dont even remember how they work but they’re fucking magical. i love that shit and miss the days when i was younger and didnt have to worry about things like money.
Well, I have to start classes in a few days and I still don’t have my camera fixed. I was supposed to go today to that little yellow shop but I didn’t find the time or energy to get out of my house and go. Bummer. But then again, I was the one who chose photography as the darn extracurricular activity. I somewhat regret it, but then I think: Do I really picture myself in the sports, folklore dancing, or arts club? Cus if I know myself good enough, my single talent is chasing my friends, family and boyfriend away when I get in that neutral and depressing state of mind that my own insecurity causes. That talent, I’ve been practicing a lot in these last weeks. I guess I have to stop unless I want to be a complete loner by the end of this month.
Camera are like the eyes we were never born with. With them, we capture the moments of life which we deem valuable. And it is with them, that we can cherish the precious moments we intend to keep beyond our brain capacity.
My camera is my window to the world that I take with me everywhere. When I bring it home, I can climb back through this window to get to the places I have been.
I wish that I took more pictures because I LOVE photography. I adore being behind the camera even more though. I think that I Need to lose weight though so that I can look good at whatever angle the camera captures. I need a new camera that’s for sure.

As he gingerly wiped the photo back and forth he reflected on the shot, and the frustration of trying to get purchase on the image. Finally it came too, but it was not the beautiful scene he saw through the lens, for although his family was there, the character in the middle he did not recognize at all.

It is a window to the past, it takes an image and preserves a fond time to be remembered in the future. How is one to know what happened on one’s first birthday, or their first Communion, or their first drive in twenty years? The answer: a camera.
she stood with her fingers curled around an imaginary camera. Lined it up right in front of her face, eyes wide looking through the imaginary view finder. Zoomed in and adjusted the lighting. Smiled and made a click noise with her mouth. Sigh. This will forever be etched in the back of her brain.
a soft fluff of clouds wrapped up around the foothills and sinking into the crevasses. The wispy mist at the edge of her toes. It buzzed with a glow of the rising sun and sang with the ringing of silence. In every breath there was a rush of life. Like nothing that a picture could bring.
Camera’s are such a brilliant idea that you can capture life every moment, every minute. Now adays you can have digital cameras so you can erase and have a do over where we never used to get that option before. Why wouldn’t you want every chance to capture all of life’s greatest moments and email them to everyone you know?
it lets me see the world in a different perspective. the lens changes how i see everything and makes me feel like I’m put on this earth for a reason. my camera is my life
