And here I stand, heart beating a mile an hour, as I gaze up into his face. A smile tugs at the corners of his lips as he stares back down at me, red splashed across his cheeks, pressed so close I can feel every anxious heave of his chest against my own. And in this moment everything slides perfectly into place and I feel my heart catch, a smile spreading wide across my face as he slowly leans in, lips softly pressing against mine.
inept
They all sit and stare, As he breaks you down, Word by word, Blow by blow. Spit flies, Blood boils. Gasping for air, Glistening eyes. Bruises blossom Across rosy skin In reminders Of every fault, Every tip and turn And stuttered word. The shame Never forgiven.
mothering
I can't even write about this word. I fucking hate my mom. She is a lying condescending bitch and a complete piece of shit. I wish she was dead. And no, I really don't care how that makes me appear.
crib
baby swinging high in your tree top, tiny fingers dangling from between the bars, a twitch and drip, liquid rubies spattered across the yard, as you sway in the breeze, rocked by whispering lullabies, into a sleep as dark as your mind
also
so here we stand in highs and lows of every mind connected with strands of memories known and long forgotten in crowded rooms and clouds so high never to touch or find each other
returned
Step out and revel under eternal beauty and allow your mind to be washed in memories. From times of crippling deaths and messy first kisses. Feel the cool within your every cell. The tears trailing along your skin in tracks of glistening purity. That salty swipe of a tongue to moisten rosy lips with every gasp for air that clouds before your eyes.
signals
watch me as I fall apart and put myself back together with you, the un-suspecting spectator of my demise. pass over smiles and "I'm fine"s as I plan the final stage and bare my heart upon a sheet of paper for all to see. tell me all that is on your mind, your every wish and promise for I will keep them close and take them to my grave, and please, don't you cry when you cross upon it.
flames
Lick my flesh and ignite my heart, burning bright as summer days, as we know that you are innocent like midnight oceans. But one day you will burn brighter than any star and turn all that I am into ashes, billowing out in the wind in search of a new home.
lamb
There they graze In fields of green, Unsuspectingly, In wait for their day. The day when they are lead In line like soldiers To the shack of their final day. Lambs for Slaughter.
weakling
I let my fingers dance across every petal and leaf within my reach, watching as they flutter in the end, only stilled by the presence of fingertips. Warmth trickles across my flesh, slowly heating only to cool quickly as a breeze ruffles the foliage high above my head and blokes the sun for a moment. Stretching, I pluck a bud from it's home and twirl it between my fingertips, watching as the morning dew sparkles like hundreds of diamonds. I allow a smile to spread across my face as the bud slips from my fingers and tumbles across the ground, only to be stopped by the sole of my foot, crushing it's shell and smearing rosy petals.
