ill
I'm ill today. Stuck inside, watching the raindrops fall on my window. It looks like they are tears, like the clouds have been crying and their silent tears have fallen on my window. I look out, and I feel as the clouds seem to. Lonely, bored, sick.

And in that one blissful moment, nothing seemed more perfect. They had each other, and that is all they would ever need.
bow
The bow in her hair was white with a blue gem in the middle that sparkled whenever she moved. Jasmine was only 6 years old at the time, but being the flower girl in a wedding was more exciting than anything in her mind. "Mommy, look at my pretty bow! Princess!" She called out as she danced around the dressing room. "Yes, darling. You do look quite like a princess." Her mother watched her fondly, proud of the bursting energy her daughter carried.
etiquette
The princess sat gracefully, with perfect etiquette and polite manners, at the table on the far side of the room. I only stared at her with admiration. She wore a beautiful gown that swept the already polished floor when she walked in the castle. Everything about her was beautiful, and I envied her so passionately.
plague
The black plague spread around us like a wild fire. Nothing could stop it from taking our homes, family, friends... our own lives. Everyone was at risk. There was no way to stop it from hurting us. We were trapped with no way out, and no help at all.
