belief
Belief can be simply described as something that you want to happen, you hope to happen. And sometimes it's something that you would die for. In my case, it is. I want him to return to me, I want him to come back and tell me that he loves me. I have confidence that maybe one day, whatever he's searching for, he'll realize that it's with me. It's always been with me.
lilies
I laid in the grass, and traced the nonexistent patterns in the sky. I was waiting for him to come to me, we we're going to have a picnic. "Sakura," I hear him call out my name. I smile and sit up and am presented with a yellow flower. "Sakura means Cherry Blossom," I tell him, feeling at the petals of the lily he has given me. "Couldn't find one, you can settle for this."
dozen
She got bored and decided to do something she rarely did, she decided to cook for him. She didn't know what he liked, and she was pretty sure he didn't like sweets, but he would take them, because they came from her. She spent her whole day in the kitchen, and emerged with a dozen cupcakes that were frosted with a pink paste and some even said, "Love."
thorns
He had given her roses, because he knew they would make her happy. He was right, because when he handed them to her, her smile lit up the whole room. And this smile was real. When she got home and started putting the roses in a vase, she pricked herself. The thorns had not been removed. She watched the blood trickle down her finger and she wondered why it felt good.
trunk
She threw the remainder of her suitcases into the trunk with lots of pent up rage. She sighs as she looks back at the house she was leaving. It was a great buy, but she realized now why no one stayed there. She pushed the trunk down, closing up her chapter in this town and ready to drive off and start a new in another. She walks along the side of the car and the hops into the drivers seat. She puts the key in the ignition and as she is buckling her seat belt, she looks up and sees a bright light, 'Trunk Ajar' it reads. She grunts and jumps out the car. The trunk was wide open and she didn't understand how. She lifts her hands up and slams the trunk down again. Once she is sure it's secure, she begins to walk off, only to hear it swing open again. "What the hell?" She curses, walking back around. "Is this a joke?" She asks herself as she begins to push it down again. The last thing she sees is the silver of her car before she feels a hand at the back of her head. The unknown person behind her slams her head into the back of the car, opens the trunk, and stuffs her in it. Because no one leaves here alive and he was there to make sure of it.
champagne
He walked towards her with a bottle in one had and two glasses in the other. He set it down on the table in front of her and she smiled. He smirked in return and leaned down. He carefully took the top off the drink and poured the liquid into the glasses. "Happy New Year, love," he says to her. "Yes, it is." And then she captures his lips in a kiss as the clock strikes twelve.
