Hey, I don’t feel like writing about a wrench at all. So instead I’m going to pretend today’s word was “wench”. I wonder how wenches used to feel about being called a “wench”? I mean, it was basically a job title right? But then do French waiters feel bad about being called boy? Who knows. I am le tired, so I will take a nap.
“Pass me the wrench!” It’s always something so simple, isnt it? Unless the person you want doesnt know what it is you really do. ” Give me a reason to hold your hand!” Sounds creepier.
…this wrench still quakes violently from the brutal rendezvous of metal upon bone. What I have done cannot be considered murderous, I was simply helping rid the green earth of toxic, insufferable life.
It made a clicking sound as she twisted the silver thing around the bolt. “I’ve never been a handyman,” she sighed. His hands enveloped hers and he sat there, close to her, his torso against her back, and he smiled. “You just…” he shrugged, “it doesn’t even matter.” Laughing, she turned to face him. “You’re only trying to help me so that you can be close to me, aren’t you…”
What is a wrench? Is it a trench that’s misspelled? Or a “wreck” in a bench? That’s all good questions. Maybe a bench, maybe a rich with a wen, no one knows. Unless I search “define: wrench” into Google. Easy!?
There it is sitting alone. Cold and distant. ready to break and twist, take apart and fix.
This is a tool for man a man made tool is this, breaker of things, fixer of parts, maker of a new and destroyer of old.
Taking apart is what we do.
Wrenched from the break, the tide washed over them, the salt cleansing and shifting its weight into wrinkled crevices. Bubbles and seaweed claim the surface water, as dreams fold into themselves below.

A wrench will give you more leverage (I think) or you could wrench something away from something else (grab or pull) I don’t like today’s word and within the minute I have I have no idea what to write about. Wrench acutally makes me think of wretch (throw up) and I definitely don’t like that word!
I use a wrench to tighten things. Tighten and loosen is usually what I do. I should use a wrench in my everyday life to tighten my bonds or to loosen my bonds. Sometimes a good and literal tool is something somebody needs to really get the job done. After all…that’s what tools are for, right? Amiright??

He had stood there for half an hour throwing stone at her window, and knew she was there, and knew she wouldn’t open the curtains because of what had happened, but while there was still another pebble to throw there was still a chance she’d relent and open up… but in the end he turned and walked away.

It’s a solid, metal object that may or may not be drop-forged. You get the wrong item and it’ll crack on you when you need it the most. I’ve never actually had this happen, but I’ve seen it occur a few times and have found the remnants of failed wrenches. The results must have been catastrophic…
You can usually pick up a good one at a hardware store for under fifteen dollars – and that’s more than likely an adjustable crescent wrench.
Throwing the wrench to the side, Thia glared in disgust at the broken engine pieces before her. Salvatore rose an eyebrow, trying not to laugh at his captain’s obvious hate of this bit of machinery. The woman scrubbed a hand roughly across her nose, smearing grease and oil across her face.
All I could taste was tin and lead, the words I spoke felt like a wrench she said. Repugnant, disgusting…little did she know it was I that felt like an elephant had trampled upon my heart. I feel you inside squeezing me and teasing me like my love still means something to you.

The wrench peeled the spray paint off the screw as well as stripping the metal head. I sighed heavily as the tool was single handedly making it’s own groove in my creative streak. Killing it one metal shaving at a time.

There it was. The silver wrench that would be the weapon of choice later that night. I quickly took it and hid it in my coat pocket. Leaving the garage I headed to my car, driving over to her house. Her, the girl who had fucked me over by cheating on me with that guy. The thought left a bitter taste in my mouth as I parked a few blocks from her house so as not to be too suspicious.
A wrench in time saves nine. Maybe it’s better to have your heart wrenched out before you really commit. Maybe it saved from waking up one morning to an empty heart, empty bed, and a ringless finger that once held the promise of a lifetime.
The awful word that makes me think of having my teeth pulled out. The awful word that reminds me of what you did to me. Heart-wrenching sadness when you beat the shit out of me and then denied in front of a court. I might as well grab a wrench and yank all my teeth out just for fun. I wouldn’t feel a thing. I should really want to take a wrench to your face, you spineless wrench faced wrench souled son of a wrench.

Wrenching my breath from my mouth and setting it free, this is something to remember, I think, this is something to learn from, to never be burned again, I tell myself.
