I don’t really like to fix things though because I’m such a perfectionist. I’d spend hours try to do something simple.

  5. the wrench was located in the toolbox. I knew that. What I didn’t know is where the toolbox was. I left it in the garage last week but it was not there. I don’t know where it is and I need the wrench to shut off the water that is flooding my bathroom. Help

  20. When a wrench the first thing that pops up in my head I automatically think of my mother and how darn handy she is around the house. She is no merry-merry house wife. She means business. You mess with her? She’ll mess you up. I mean every part of that. She loves fixing up little doodads around the house and boy… is our house gorgeous. I love that woman to bits.   26. Today i saw a man standing next to a pipe with a wrench in his hand. the look on his face was one of defeat and dissappointmetn. I wondered what the problem was and why he was struggling. that man was my husband and the pipe was frozen thus preventing water from flowing into our home.

  30. Wrench is an item, usually a tool. But people rarely use the word wrench as the noun meaning tool. When I use “wrench” in my mind, I usually mean “obstacle” in my path. For example: Oh, man! That was a real monkey wrench in my plans!

  38. It was then that i took his wrench away from him and threw it at his truck. That’ll teach him, i thought. but i thought wrong…i was the one who was taught. that night i ended up in the ER broken and bruised. All that could fix me was some plaster and stitches.
