  1. Hope breeds me
    into clam shells, pried open
    and ripped from hinges,
    the gaping jaw of horror,
    chest an excavation site…
    but my ribs are harpoons
    fastened to my spine,
    and every loved one becomes
a victim in the crime scene
    of this serial killer’s cage.

Hope is the pot I burn
    myself on, blisters opening to
    spill “it’s common sense;
    “but keep trying,” my mind
    too shakey – wary.
    I must be pushed into
the boiling water to “try again.”

    Poe, I understand.
Dear raven croaking with a throat full
of madness and bile, I understand.

My aorta is not pumping blood anymore
but the mourning song so barbed
and disconnected, it could only come
    from skeleton jaws.

    Nevermore, but the answer
    a triplet echo
    “have faith.”

  2. Jack Tripper was talking with the Fonz, and their conversation kept coming back to…

  3. But the most weird thing about the McDucks isn’t the mansion, the butler, or the way-too fancy car, it’s the actual family. Especially the triplets. What’s the deal with those three, anyway?

  4. triplets are tons of work you have to feed them all
    change there diapers
and u will never get enough sleep because one will always be up

  5. it would be cool to have triplets. they would be very tiny and cute
it would be lots of work though and u would go through tons of diapers

  6. Three identical outfits, two identical boy and one girl bearing striking resemblance to her brothers.

  7. I don’t know why I was surprised. It was something I had known from the very start. When three identical triplets come to you saying that they impersonate each other, you ultimately jump the the worst case scenario. Did they kill someone and blame it on each other? Did they rob a bank and one took the blame for the other two?

    by Rebecca on 12.08.2015
  8. I didn’t know what I was expecting. When three identical triplets tell you you’ve been cheating on them, with each other, you’re ultimately confused.

  9. triple the fun
    triple the joy
    triple the company
    triple the memories
    only possible
with you , me and God at the center
    when all is done
    according to his plan
    we’ll see better days
    just as He planned

  10. They were rich, smart, pretty, and related. It seemed almost unfair that their family was blessed with so much aptitude, but then I suppose they weren’t expecting it. I shared a class with the eldest once, a time before Berkeley. He was charming, polite, and respectful. A group project led to a meeting at their house, where I learnt how their parents kept them so perfectly eloquent.

  11. the lady was pushing, pushing so hard, one came, then another ,then another she had given birth to triplets and the husband had gotten it all on live footage and over the years they kept watching it over and over

  12. 3 months premature. Cold, red and squawling. Locked in incubators; doctors in hushed white coats, waiting. Days at the beach, posing for photos; endless photos because the parents can’t quite believe their luck, even now; twenty-one

  13. Pinching chubby cheeks was her thing now. It used to be shopping, but that paled in comparison to the feel of soft supple baby skin beneath her fingers and the giggles that always followed. Lucky for her, there were three sets to pinch, and in her mission to be a good mother, she made sure to give each one its proper due.

  14. There was one flower, which i read about in botany that has a triplet arrangement for the petal. If my memory serves me right it was under the tridax family.

  15. The notes slurred together on the piano in long strands of music. They no longer sounded like triplets and rests. It sounded like… whole, or something. I watched his fingers move, his eyes close with concentration, his shoulders raise and lower with the phrases. He knew this more intimately than he had ever known anything.

  16. I would never wish triplets on anyone as this seems to be more work than anyone could possibly handle without a lot of help from siblings or maids or someone like that.

  17. I really hate clones…especially when triplets are born on accident! Good grief…somebody save us…oh go

  18. Triplets are wonderful creations of God. It feels awesome to have triplets. It is hard to raise them but feels wonderful. Oh, God’s creation is really wonderful!

  19. they come in threes and are utterly overwhelming, but in a way we can adore. triple is fun to speak, like dimple or wrinkle, almost. triplets come in threes. triplets come in threes. triplets come in threes.

  20. Having twins maybe exciting and difficult at the same time, Imagine triplets on the other hand. I think the ideal time to have triplets would be when you actually start of your family life this would convince you of not having anymore kids and be happy with these three guys. It is definitely going to be an enriching experience for the parents since I have only heard of how just one baby can paralyze a parent, so three of them would be a party.

They would definitely teach a lot to the parents. I personally feel that there would be a different kind of sibling rivalry, nothing of the sort where “I’m the elder one, hence I make the call” or even the partiality toward the youngest of the family.

It is definitely going to be an expensive affair since its three everything when you go shopping for clothes, toys, food, birthdays and the list goes on and on and on.. The perks are also very helpful cause the kids would be stronger since they have been growing up together, they would be more stable, share similar thoughts and philosophies on life and even do things with the help of each other, be it education, work etc.

It would also be the best kind of feeling for the parents, cause you couldn’t have asked for more cause you were expecting one and you three. It takes three to party :p

  22. the sun went down with them, taken away, all of it gone, i only wish i could have understood what happened, saw the patterns for what they were like a dots to connect. have it all spelled out so i could understand

  23. They were all the same, the three of them. Exactly identical in every way save one: The first brother had no arms, the second brother had no legs, and the third brother — well, let’s just say he was missing a crucial appendage. Nevertheless, the three of them lived happily enough together right up into their twenties, when their parents passed away from a sudden plane crash over the Atlantic. By this time, the first brother was a national runner, the second brother was

  24. the fates with twin scissors and single eye trimming quaintly the lines and lies of our lives. the three bears and their porridges hot, cold, and somewhere in-between. the three little pigs with the houses of straw, sticks, and bricks. god and his son and the ghost looming over primordial waters

  25. They came in triplets, the green cans, a florescent glow that peaked from behind the stained cardboard boxes.

  26. Triplets are 3 of something. For example: Amy had triplets. Which means she had 3 babies.

    by Alexyss Jacobs on 12.07.2015
  27. triplets. three. three of the same person. well not the same person. three beings that look alike. identical. a three way mirror. i wonder what that would be like. i could see myself as a doctor. or maybe a lawyer. or a writer. i am here, painting. maybe i’d need quintuplets to see everything that i think can do with my life.

  28. I look like I ate a few. I just…I was different. Thinner, more in control, more likable. Now, I feel like three in one. Huge. Too much.

    by Saya on 12.07.2015
  29. They come so unexpectedly. You start off thinking only one. Oh what a happy moment in your life but as the days go by and the tummy keeps growing you find out no 2.. no. 3! Your days get much more stressful but joy comes with it. Excitement. A family.

  30. She was one-third of three, identical in every way. Every like, dislike, personality, characteristic. She was one of the three singing androids, a star in the broadway musical, ‘Northern Lights’.
But she knew she was different, because she had memories that her sisters didn’t have, she knew what it was like to be human.
And tonight, she would escape the show.

  31. they were triplets, growing in the belly, glowing and growling, except from what the doctors say, not all three of them would survive. it was not that uncommon with multiple births: some foetuses had defects, health problems, low prognostics… It was not uncommon, but it was for sure not reassuring.

“We have different options for your family,” started the doctor.

    “I’m keeping them all.”

“Do you understand the actual risks we are talking about here?”

“I’m keeping them all,” she repeated. “I couldn’t do anything other than that without betraying my heart.”

She shrugged then, a small tender shrug within which was a whole lot of meekness, but she was also bold somehow.

  32. I’d suck Braxton Metcalf’s cock and balls. triplets.

  33. The air was crisp and cold in my lungs as we walked side by side. There was a heavy weight in my stomach, a panic fluttering in my fingers, but in you I saw no remorse.

Perhaps it was my inability to look. Our paths had been aligned for so long that I forgot how to know you when we were apart. Your gaze was focused straight ahead, hands by your side, bag on your shoulders — a woman seemingly unaffected.

I had mentioned before: the beginning of the end, and I would be deluding myself into thinking that this was not it.

  34. waiting for the page to load
incessant reminders to stop what i’m doing
i feel like a zero that wants to be a one
all this time that i’m screwing

  35. The Jones triplets all liked to do different things: Martin was a jazz trumpeter, Jasmine was an accountant, and Kaitlyn was a brazen activist fighting for both the trans community and the Black Lives Matter movement. All of them sported similar physical features, however, with wild thatches of curly black hair and rich chocolate skin. Martin was married to a woman who was whiter than milk, while Jasmine and Kaitlyn preferred to be single.

  36. There was a soft glow to the surroundings when Jack walked through the entrance hall into the large waiting room. Where other waiting rooms were filled with apprehension and fear, this one was filled with hope and joy.

  37. Simple:
it’s a terrible subject to write about.
