  6. When I was a young, my mother used to recieve letters from her friends in England. She didn’t show emotion when she read them, other times breaking into tears when they arrived, not stopping until she had read them again and again.

  7. Letters are the best thing to ever happen to us. I am always amazed by the efficiency of letters in getting your point across, and ever since I was a young child I have been enthralled by the cursive writing that appears on most letters. In conclusion, I really love how letters can help you get your point across. They’re great!

  9. the letters my grandma wrote, I wish she would clen out her old house all of her stuff is going to get water damaged. i wonder what she thinks, what she had to say, she can’t be that boring, right? I wish Cam could write me letters. Isn’t there more to say than just what we say every day?

I’m not even sure why my hippie self was okay with wasting paper, but to get to say things that I couldn’t tell you out loud was so freeing. Now I can’t even write you, I just bottle it all in. I miss those days, the days when we weren’t so comfortable that we could hide things. I miss you.

  39. What ever happened to letter-writing? with all news traveling so quickly, by the time a letter has reached its intended, the person has probably already been informed on the contents. an art form slowly fading into the abyss. sad.

  40. letters are what make up every day english. letters are wonderful things. but how do you spell letters? i often find myself trying to sound out that actual letter as opposed to a word, wondering how i would go about spelling it without using the letter, itself. some are easy, such as y (why). then again, you’re using the letter. how can this be?
