I am extremely idle right now. I don’t have a job and even my friends are idle. I sometimes do love the apathy of life, not doing anything and just being alone. Idleness gives you time to think about yourself.
I feel totally unmotivated lately. It’s astounding how I can be so content to sit here in my underwear occasionally snapping one off to reruns of Maury and eating Dorito’s. Odd how life turns out sometimes.
She sat idle in the woods, back against a pine, and imagined how the rest of her life would go. There would be songs in the night. Her diary would fill with regrets and triumphs. Winters would require a coat, scarf, perhaps green gloves. And the gloves hovered before her half-closed eyes, like twin medals she would win for that brave, enviable life.
I’m so tired. It’s four in the morning and I’m just sitting at my computer desk idling like a car at a stop light. I need motivation like I need a hole in the head. Right now, I need sleep.
The entirety runs ever on, it spills and shimmies, this all-in-one. Just speed up the stop frame, just ask your grade school teacher. You’ve heard about about glass, aqueous and flowing; nothing idles.
I think that idle people are like me. we have nothing to do, and so we procrastinate instead. i like to procrastinate by going online,. in fact, this is what i’m doing now! i personally think that this is a test to see how fast i can type. I think i am going off topic. let’s see if i made it without ANY TYPOS. I HATE TYPOS.. looks like i just tapped the capslocks key.

i’m idle all the time, waiting for something bigger to happen, yet i never stop going, and then waiting. idle isn’t so bad if it’s intentional, waiting outside for a lover to exit the building, idling your car waiting for that first moment when you see their hair in the sun and you get so excited to think of them coming to your car, to get in and give you a breathless kiss, that’s not idling at all.
It means to stand still, not to do anything. I think of it being a lazy person with their faith…you cannot just sit still and expect God to do all the work… you must MOVE not sit idle. Move.
