I was scared, the hill was too tall to see anything but the the ominous black sky and the rising moon.. a moon that stared down at me with such intensity that I thought I’d done something to make her mad… which, of course, was very possible. I’m not a very good girl.

As soon as I reached the top the breeze picked up and swept my hair from my face. I panned around to take in the view and for just one second I lost the loneliness.

  31. i’ve been here already – done that. i talked about the hill yesterday…why this again? am i supposed to have some overnight revelation – maybe that’s it – maybe i am to find meaning in the hill. honestly, i climb them, but then before you know it, i’m at the bottom and there’s another. as soon as it begins to be easy – that means that i’m going down, i’m on an even plane, and next – another hill. but, what would be the point if it were not for these hills? why would i have purpose at all? and why would i try – if it were all even fields of grass and glory…why get up at all?
