  1. I see more death than growth these days. Growth implies improvement, development, and potential. I see absolution, resolution, close-mindedness, and becoming old. Death surrounds all the plants I’ve ever tried to grow. And all the people, too.

    Now, he was tall and muscular–one of the strongest people in the world. He had the most willpower of anyone else he’d ever met.

  7. I wish I could grow. I wish I was taller. I don’t think 5’5 is too short but I am just average. And I am not an average sort of person. I am extraordinary and I wish my height could resemble that as well but it doesn’t. This depresses me a lot. I wish I was tall.

  10. i was once a young little boy. I knew little and cared less. I have since grown larger by size yet little in mind. I am still lost and i still dont care. however, there will come a day when growth will be my responsibility and that is when I will really have to grow up.

  17. Growth is painful. I have to be an adult and work on my own growth. I have to stop living in the past and focus more on positive growth. He had a large purple growth on his far left toe. A corroded artery is a growth in the direction of death. The tree’s growth was stunted by a plague of locusts. I record my daughter’s growth by marking her height on the wall with a pencil every year. Consumption of fats and sweets causes excessive growth in the midsection. Fuck, I hate the word “growth.” Ewww.

  35. Every year we grow more and more. We grow in size, we grow in wisdom. I have grown in religion. I have decided that I am not a catholic, but a protestant. And in the process I have grown into an independent person. Now I can see that my life is what I make it. NOT what my parents try to make it for me. That is my personal growth of recent months.

  37. everyone experiences their own personal growth at different rates. it doesn’t make them any more or less intelligent. in most of my experiences, growth has occurred as a result of external factors. if people stay stagnant, if they are always in the company of the same people, little growth can be achieved.
