ego is related to self esteem. if you have a high ego then your self esteem is most likely up, and vice versa. Some people are jsut too egotistical and they end up being slefish, proud, conceitful human beings. These type of people often endup losing their friends and do not have good relationships.

Too many people think too much of themselves. Their egos are huge and they believe that they are the end all be all. I think that reality should keep most people’s ego’s in check. Realists generally don’t have the same problems with big egos as people who live in their own little worlds where they are superior to other people. It’s important to have a healthy ego. Not too big or too small of one.
