I was vibrant. I was ecstatic. I was just so damned happy. Imagine my delight, someone took an interest to me. Someone liked me. Imagine my delight, that someone was you.
There are very few things that delight me personally. In general, things that give me delight are when I can do something which delights or is delightful to others. I don’t know if that is indicative of some condition or other but it seems to make me happy.
Today, I took my twin daughters into kindergarten. I can’t believe how big they have gotten. As we get older, we too easily forget to see the world for the big, exciting, wonderful place that it is. Take delight in the littlest of things.
delight always seemed like kind of a girly word growing up. To a degree, it still does. I struggle to find a situation where I’d say I was “delighted” without sounding like a cheeseball.

The number rings her ex-husband, and she delights again in thinking of the surprise on the young men faces, the anger in her ex’s.
I looked up to see a glint of delight in his eyes. The light reflected off the green surface to create a stunning effect. The most amazing part was that I caused this, that I was the reason he was lighting up the room, that a simple, childish, high-school-branded phrase such as, “I like you, too,” could make this happen.
