  8. Thunder rolled over the sharp peaks of the mountains around them as, shivering, Rob and Tracey made their way slowly up to the dim light between the trees. A small shack, situated in a copse of pine trees just off the highway, stood warm and inviting ahead of them, the windows lit with golden light and smoke rising through the rain from the chimney. And when they asked if they could possibly warm up inside for just a bit and use the phone, the old woman that answered simply smiled, and told them she would be delighted to help.

  15. As a kid, I used to be delighted when I was given a simple ice cream cone. These days, it’s not as easy to reach a euphoric state. “Happiness” comes in the form of money, and therefore, greed. Why has happiness become so unattainable?

  36. well oddly enough the first thing i thought of was sadness. i don’t have a lot of delight right now i guess. a boy hurt me, and i have to get over that, so for now delight is in the distant future…but i will see it soon :]
