  1. The stars align. People always say this when things go the way they want. It would be more realistic to say people align, ideas align, motives, loves, passions, acts align. Thats what really happens. Maybe its just a metaphor, but maybe we need a new one.

  4. alignment means putting things in order. usually it’s pieces of your body. because when these things are out of alignment, you notice most painfully. after your body is aligned, then the term extends to to things in your life. they can be out of alignment too. .

  5. Straight in the same direction. Close. Being as one but in two different places, going the same direcion. Parallel. Connected. Understanding. Comfortable in being in the right place, with out sharing that place. A venn diagram of edges. Running parallel but also mixed in their sameness.

  6. i checked the alignment on my car, it was way off. it made a mjor adjustment to get it fixed, but it improved my gas mileage, and there was less wear on my brakes and brake pads. I wish I would have done this earlier.

  15. I think of aligning one’s hair part to be in the middle of his or her face. THen I think of changing the alignment of a document on word (I’ve been writing a lot of college papers lately) then I think of aligning one’s life with how they want the end result to be. Then I think of a sunset and then I think of death.

  17. Alignment is tricky. When you don’t get it right, buildings and bridges fall down and many people die. This is why you measure twice, cut once, and align the shit out of things.
