I think the way we talk to people says a lot about how we see ourselves. Are we tied to our own ideas so closely that we can't imagine criticizing the ideas of others without respecting the holders of those ideas?

What an interesting word. Really? Is it? I don't know. Discover reminds me of the word uncover. I wonder what the difference between the two really is. When I was younger, I would type quite a bit and my word processor would always offer as an alternative to "discover" the word "invent". Do these really mean the same thing?
