  1. I always respected her. She was too pretty and kind not to. She gave everyone supplies, talked about what she was going to do when she gets older; giving money to the poor, opening her own charity, feeding the hungry. She wanted to end world hunger and I couldn’t help but wish I was as generous as she was.

  4. there is nothing respectable about a man who can’t man up, this is what I have learned from writing love letters. everything is fine and romantic and intriguing until you find out that all you have is words because the man on the other side, when it comes down to it, is composed of nothing of the sort that you need for romances. unfortunately these types sound brave in letters.

  7. When I was a child my mum took me to the zoo. We went straight to the tiger exhibit, because, as I recall, my mum knew that tigers were my favorite animal at the time and she wanted me to see the tigers first. I’m not exactly sure how she knew this, but I imagine it had something to do with the fact that immediately after we got in the car to go to the zoo I told her that tigers were my favorite animal and I politely suggested that we see the tigers first. And presumably after the 500th time I suggested this she decided that I might not be feeling good, because she pulled the car over and politely suggested that if I was not up to going to the zoo that we could go back home instead. After the tigers we went to the baboon exhibit. Now, at this particular juncture I find that it is necessary to introduce my brother, if only for the purpose of highlighting a particular difference between us. See, when we visited the baboon exhibit, my brother decided that baboons were best appreciated close up, for he chose a viewing position that was as close to the baboons as was possible while still remaining a respectable distance away. Now I, being 3 years the younger, was not going to be shown up by my older brother. So as he sidled up close to the railing I swung underneath it in a fashion that I was certain a baboon could appreciate and I wattled up to the cage and my scalp all of a sudden became very itchy, so I scratched it, and I felt a tickle under my arm, so I picked at it, and when I finally reached the cage I gave my most triumphant hollar OOH OOH AHH AHH! As it turns out baboons don’t like that noise. My mother explained this to me as she wiped off my face and politely suggested that was go back and see the tigers.

  15. I wish people would do things that were respectable. It seems like no one cares anymore about who they hurt or who they step on, as long as they get what they want in the end…But, is that really what they want? To not be respected by the people who once loved and cared about them?

  18. I hate when people generalize and stereotype, about the way a girl talks or dresses or something. That if she does something in a certain way she isn’t “respectable”. Did he regret the kiss? Admittably I was not a good kisser, but that was probably because he was my first kiss. Should I go apologize to him for being a bad kisser? Should I, oh whatever, forget about him. He’s not that important in my life. I could go without him, yes, that is what I shall do… oh, where is he now? He has probably decided to hide from me.
