chaos
My mom always used to say that our dog, Jesse, had a little chaos theory on the top of her head where the hair from her nose collided with the hair on her neck and spun into little twirls and sometimes stuck up in the air. Jesse died in December. I miss her.
myth
I've always been fascinated by myths. The Greek and Roman ones, and the Egyptian ones. I think it's pretty cool how each different culture had its own gods but they are remarkably similar. Of course, that could be because older ones were adopted into the new cultures as expansion took over the world. You know the whole, "We're better than you and more powerful and we think our gods are better than yours" thing. How strange.
mud
so when I was little I used to love playing in the mud. I wanted to do this thing called Slopfest where it's a whole puddlemess of mud and you play in it but then I started worrying about what I would wear that I wouldn't care getting dirty and got flustered and then found out that it was only for high school kids anyway.
