  1. Some only think of Greek gods, Celtic heroes, etc, but my dad always uses the phrase “Christian Mythology”, which pisses some people off to an astounding degree. Relax. Just because one dude doesn’t believe it doesn’t mean it should shake you’re whole foundation of your faith.

    A story told,
    a story of old.

And that I will never, ever find it.

  10. When I hear the word myth, I think of the show Mythbusters. Adam Savage, Kari Byron, Jamie Hyneman, Grant Imahara, and the hotness that is Tory Belleci. They blow stuff up. They bust myths. Adam and Tory have a tendancy to get hurt busting the myths… That makes the word myth all the more entertaining for me, and that is what I think of when I hear the word myth.

  14. Mythical love. That’s what she had. He was there, her knight in (maybe not shining) armor, but he was there. He bought her flowers, kissed her cheek, held her hand while walking through streets filled with cafes. Her love was the kind of love they wrote stories and sappy love songs about, the kind people tried to capture in pictures, the kind that people craved; and she had it all.

  16. I’ve always been fascinated by myths. The Greek and Roman ones, and the Egyptian ones. I think it’s pretty cool how each different culture had its own gods but they are remarkably similar. Of course, that could be because older ones were adopted into the new cultures as expansion took over the world. You know the whole, “We’re better than you and more powerful and we think our gods are better than yours” thing. How strange.

Not from the Greeks, or the Romans, but a tale of human struggle, as only the imaginations of many can create.”
