The sunglasses slipped down the bridge of his nose as he looked at me with a pained a expression. We were outside on my deck studying, actually, it was like he was tutoring me. But, hey! It's not my fault I'm bad at math!

The cool black top of the desk caressed my face. I stared out the window, barely aware of my science teacher's lesson. I focus on the desk. The desk that catches my tears, hugs me when I need it, and feeds my ideas. Desk, desk, desk.

People say they can't live without love, but it is not needed to nourish.
bitten
I was bitten. You bit me. The burning pain flooded my body, I don't understand why you did it. I just don't, because your words bite.
puddle
I laughed and jumped from puddle to puddle, as he smiled at my foolishness. I turned and caught his blue eyes, the rain still dripped from his auburn hair, this is one of those time I wished would last forever.
branches
The branches whipped my face as I ran. I knew that the fatal swing should have hurt horribly, but I felt no pain. I only felt the adrenaline of what had just happened in my high school gym for prom.

The flight attendant fought her way down the crowded aisle holding a child. She stops at a seat and lowers the child on a man, who seemed to be suffering a major hangover. She put on a plastic smile, then walked away, little did the man know that she wanted to slap him outside his sore head!
blaze
I awoke to a blaze of fire. The smoke stung my eyes, and I squinted against the bright glow. I coughed and sputtered. Why wasn't I running?

I was caughrt! Captured! The catcher had caught me, he wants the crown I had stolen from his king. The king wants me to be dead, but the catcher has other ideas...
