flip
I would do back flips in order to make her happy. She's my best friend. And I can never say thank you enough.
attendant
Being a flight attendant would be my dream job. You spend all your time floating from city to city, never having to put down roots, never having anyone rely on you, never having to let anyone down. Being a flight attendant would be my dream job.
blaze
Blaze Flame Fire Heat Passion Love Loneliness, loneliness.
catcher
The Catcher in the Rye was always one of those books that I feel like everyone should read. I was supposed to read it in high school, but I thought I was so cool, and didn't read it. I just picked it up again this past winter, and it made me feel not alone anymore. Everyone on the planet feels the same things, just not at the same time.
temper
"You need to watch your temper." I've heard this so many times before. It's ironic, though, because I don't really feel anything. I haven't felt anything in a while. I'm not even passionate about anything. I'm just totally numb.
residue
there was a residue on the inside of the mason jar from all the summer days that it was filled with lemonade. there was never any need to clean it, she would just keep refilling it. one for her, one for him. those were the days they were in love. their stories would float up to the ceiling in the endless hourss spent at the kitchen table. now all that’s left is just the residue.
