I'm a firearm's enthusiast. He declared proudly. She wasn't quite sure what to think. It was the subject of hot debate in the country, and maybe that's why she was compelled towards him. It gave him a sort of bad boy status.

Sometimes when she was bored she flipped through the dictionary. She'd been doing it when she was a child. She would test herself on definitions and try to learn a few new words to incorporate into her vocabulary that week. Her eyes closed and finger pointed, she landed on the word "sill". Ugh, she thought to herself. What a boring word.
freezer
The only issue with dieting, she thought to herself, was that it was no fun. Seriously. She threw down her plastic baggie of slivered almonds and ventured into the freezer. Ah, that's what she needed. A nice pint of Ben and Jerry's Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz. It was good to eat it now because it would give her the caffeine she needed to study. Right? Eh. It was no use trying to reason with her because she was going to eat it anyway.

He could feel the seat drip from his forehead as he made the calculations. Was he going to make it through this week? What inside him inspired him to buy this shop? He hardly made ends meet with the nearly-negative revenue the store brought in every quarter.

She pointed one nylon covered toe into the top of her slip and pulled it up to her waist. As she slipped her feet into a scuffed up pair of heels, she sighed. Her body had been pulled and stuffed and squeezed from decades of neglecting her diet and weight. Why didn’t she look the way in the mirror as she did in her head?
