crew
Always getting on. Never really caring about anything else. They were the crew. Silenced, paid for, and always there when you need them. But not for long.
lift
Upwards. Up. Up. Skywards. He lifted her up. And maybe she lifted him too. She wasn't as strong. Or maybe she was. Up.
rules
I have never been one to mindlessly follow rules. I understand the need for them but I can't help but break most of them. What is life without a little excitement? I refuse to be normal. I refuse to be ordinary.
salt
Salt on rice. The people have nothing else to eat. Oh how delicious it is.
force
It's a silent thing, force. It barely makes a sound and yet is so powerful it can change lives. The force of hate, or love for example. Anything could change in a minute. What drives you?
umbrella
Remember that little umbrella I used to wear on my head when I was a child? Remember how your mother gave me an umbrella on one of my birthdays? I dreamed of you recently, you know. It's scary because it's been a long time but I still think of you. It's not right.
sinking
Sinking. Sinking. Sinking very slowly into a deep abyss from which I may never come up again. Sinking deep. Deep into what appears to be a hole. Myself.
trophy
I've never had a trophy. Unless you count myself. I'm everybody's trophy.. just free to be shown around and bragged about. But just like any trophy.. I'm just that. Nothing more.
intense
Every meeting, every encounter, was filled with overwhelming intensity. Most of the time, I found it hard to breath. Every movement, every word.. left me wanting more.
held
I wish he held me tighter. I wish he didn't let go. But he did, and all that's left is the memory that we once held each other.
