  1. It is worthwhile to write daily. It causes the cogs and wheels in the brain to start moving. The sounds of tapping keys on the keyboard are also worthwhile because they are the sound of accomplishment. Here, I typed this word just now. I can still type. I can

  2. Man, these have been some of the DRIEST words lately. I’m beginning to wonder if stopping by here for a prompt is really worthwhile. Gimme some words with some juice in them, oneword.

  3. Jacob wasn’t convinced that the math homework was a worthwhile way to spend his time. Especially when he could easily think of a million things to do that would be more productive than banging his head on the desk, trying to pretend the secrets to calculus would ever be revealed to him. He just hated it. He couldn’t remember when his relationship with math had turned sour, he just knew that somewhere along the line, something had gone horribly wrong.

“Are you sure you don’t need any help?”

  4. It will all be.

  5. The snake pit was pushing it. The swinging blade of death was more than I had prepared for, but I continued on. But this, this is asking too much. What prize could possibly be worth this?

  6. “All things in nature are worthwhile,” she whispered to me as we sat underneath the tree. “The only difference between something that looks as though it’s significant and something that looks as if though my Uncle Rowy painted it while drunk off of rum is what we make it.

  7. Every effort at attaining peace and true spitiurality with God, should be seen as a worthwhile endeavour. Our life would be worthless if we contiue to enduge in have material things, at the risk of loosing our soul.

  8. Artie’s scheme no longer seemed like a worthwhile investment to Rich, but he had promised to see it through. Three feet from the top of the hill, his rusted Radio Flyer hitched on a loose rock and tipped perilously to the left. Rich swore. “Damn that Artie! Damn him all the way to hell!”

  9. When you die, you won’t go to heaven and see all the dead people you knew. You’ll start all over, in a new body, and you will remember nothing. You’ll surrender your memories, but you won’t lose what they’ve made of you. You’ll keep what made them worthwhile.

  10. I am important. And worthwhile. Life is worth living while you’re in the world. Is this a worthwhile endeavor to be tapping out these words so quickly while the clock is running? I do it every day, so I hope that it means something. What does it mean? I have no idea, but I do it anyway. Is it worthwhile for me to seek out an alternative place to drink coffee today? I’m a-gonna do it. The clock is running but it hasn’t indicated that the minute is up. There’s something wrong. The clock has been interrupted. There’s no way this is still within a minute. Lard.

  11. It’s not worthwhile, it really isn’t. Some people say it is, some people say it isn’t, but you know what? I think the arguments are all fake. There’s what society says, there’s what’s ‘expected of you’ and all that crap, but really, in all honesty, It just isn’t worthwhile. What happens? You leave burdens on everyone, you cause more problems then you solve. The best thing you can really do is get on with your life. Get yourself in a place where you can go on your own and then no one really has to see you again, so you know the people who do are the ones who are really and truly worthwhile.

  12. After my second appointment, Dr. Hopewell tells me that it’s not worthwhile, constantly revisiting the moment of his death. That it’s just another tool my subconscious can use to torture me on long nights when sleep decides to keep its distance.

  13. There is no love wasted when it is poured in purity onto another person. I consider every relationship I’ve ever had worthwhile, for each individual is precious, valued at more than all of the world’s wealth. It’s not philosophy, it’s truth.

  14. She knew her goals were worthwhile, but she also knew that they were going to take a stretch longer than a while to complete, and that if she didn’t get started soon, she’d never get there. “There” had become an all consuming concept, so much so that the repetition of it turned it into an abstraction. Even if she got “there” she likely wouldn’t know it for years to come.

  15. Not much is worthwhile. Not the moon and the sky, nor the sun adn the treees. Not the earth beneath our feet or the wvehicles with which we drive nearly all of the time. But people. As neverending and constant as they are, THEY seem to be what we live for. I don’t care fmuch for people. Or atleast, I used not to. But one particular person changed that for me. One person only.

not sure if i even want to find love.

but i cant help being stiffled with lonelyness

i just want out, but what i really want is in.

but i can’t find the worth in the while

  19. It wasn’t worth my time to be with her anymore. She wasn’t what I needed and I had grown into a completely different person. I didn’t regret any of the time that we’d spent together but I didn’t know if I could do it any longer. It was just our time.

  20. I think people spend most of their lives questioning if something they put themselves to or against is worthwhile. In the end, anyways. And I wonder it too, whenever my heart throws a tantrum and overtakes all of my breathing with it’s beating. When I can’t hear it anymore. It’s easy to feel like a sacrifice in this case.

  21. worth worth worth the while it takes
takes a while to make it worth the while

worth worth worth the whale it takes
takes a whale to make it worth the whale

  22. “Just because it might not work out doesn’t mean it’s not worthwhile. This, us…it’s worth trying, Kahlan. You know it is,”
“Serah…” she trailed off and tried to look away but, with my hands still on her face, she was unable to do so, and I was glad when she waited only a few seconds before meeting my eyes once more.
“I’m right…aren’t I?” I asked, my words suddenly colored with insecurity.
Kahlan watched me for a painfully long minute before she nodded, a soft smile overtaking her features. “Yes.”

  23. Was it worthwhile? All of this time spent staring at a screen. He knew if he could achieve his goal in the end it, would all be worth it, but right now it just felt so meaningless. It felt like it wasn’t worth all of this. He was neglecting his family, his health, all for the sake of building something new, something great.

  24. It’s amazing how worthwhility is colored with subjectivity. (She’d started talking to herself recently, using made-up words, and every time she did she would feel a giddy laugh trying to squeeze out of her throat.) She’d thought she was the misfit here, certain everyone’s test averages were 20 points higher than her in high school (she was pretty sure she had gotten in because of her genius cousin who she collaborated with in making a robotic helicopter; he wanted her to get in so he let her take credit for it in her application essay). Here they talked about physics and chemistry and math like she did with her sister on television dramas, and she saw them as interesting for the first time; it wasn’t long before she could make up nerdy jokes of her own.

  25. In life, find what you are passionate about.
Forget about the money, the popularity.
    Do what makes you happy.
And you will be able to look at your life and absolutely love it.

  26. with all the efforts to get with you
and all the demands you put on me when we finally get together
and all the costs that I take on when I’m with you
it had better be worthwhile to be with you
because I’ve withdrawn from you before
    when it got too much…

  27. Whether or not you believe the adventure is worthwhile at the time is irrelevant. Once you are done and look back at it with the clarity of hind sight, then you know.

  28. He was it.

    Perfect.

    Brillant.

    A sacrifice.

Her time had not been such a waste.

And she’d thought it’d have been useless here.

  29. Their time spent together was worthwhile. Before they knew it, their awkward smiles and slight touches grew in to something more; wanting kisses and pleasurable touches soon replaced what once was as the lovers became lost in each others bodies.

  30. And Alice went on with her life, not letting the past control it. It had been a hard childhood for her, but she had lived through it. She had suffered, and she had fought to overcome that suffering, and it had all been worthwhile. The End.

  31. Sometimes I think about my life, my actions, and I wonder if everything I’ve done, everything I will ever do, will be worthwhile. It’s a hard thing to figure, I suppose. Nothing will ever seem like enough, but then again, sometimes thing’s seem like too much. But how could that be?

  32. Was it worthwhile? It was a question she asked herself every day. It generally wasn’t. She hated her life.

Was it worthwhile to throw her life away for the whims of…him. Sacrificing herself for his needs. Catering to his every whim. Wanting him when he didn’t want her.

    Fuck no it wasn’t.

She couldn’t help it though. He was a siren and she was a sailor. There was no stopping it.

  33. It was all worthwhile in the end. Right? Because it had to be. There was no other option. Each step I took, each thought I though, each moment I continued breathing, it was all worth it. Because now I’m here, and I’m still breathing, after all this time. Even if I’m the only one. I’m still here.

  34. Nothing is worthwhile if you are not enjoying it. Do what you love to do. I knew a girl who dedicated her life to doing things that are worthwhile. She never wasted her time. She only did what she loved to do. You are not obligated to swallow anything you despise.

  35. we all just want something worth living for
and i think we take that too far i think we try so hard to have this hollywood film life that our real life just crumbles away and becomes shit and thats terrible

  36. Eyes closed, arms raised;
    Voices flowing together as one.
    All the wait, All the faith;
Singing praises to the one that reins,

It’s all worthwhile, it’s all worthwhile.

  37. It was worthwhile, thinking about the grandeur of the city, Nature was once there. Now, it’s all cubicles and blocks of concrete. We’re mindlessly doing our part to uphold our prisons, along the way getting daily rewards of distracting sensual pleasures. So far from Spirit I am. We are.

  38. It was a strange friendship, strained at times, awkward and disjointed at worst, but there was a quiet comfort to it, silences, looks, contented sighs in each others’ company that made it right.

  39. The time I spent with him was worthwhile. We held hands and talked. We talked about everything, really. And we walked, too. A thousand miles, and never got tired once. I smiled, and he smiled, and the world fell into a perfect harmony.

  40. “This wasn’t worth it!” Julie screamed as she, Dan, and Aleda sprinted away from the man wielding a shotgun. “Not worth it!”
“Hey ,at least we know the area’s repopulated!” Dan sot back. He was in the front, he had no reason to worry.
A shot pinged into the dirt at Julie’s feet.
“Yeah, like this area needed any more damn settlements!”
