  1. Why would I “tame” any part of myself? I’m no danger to anyone, with my wild hair and my wild ideas. I’m no fist-clenching whirling dervish.

  2. Her nose pointed towards the ceiling, her petite nostrils flaring.

“If you’re hoping to tame me, I’m afraid you’ve begun a fool’s errand. You are not the first to try, and trust me, my dear- you will not be the last.”

  3. What does it truly mean, to “tame” a beast, she thought? What does one expect of such a creature? Surely the wildness in their heart has not abated. The creature sleeping and sighing under her hand was no less fierce than he had been before they had met, a terribly passionate thing running unfettered through the leagues of green around her home. Yet now he was content to lie on the floors of the same castle he once spat upon, suddenly shockingly gentle as he snored.
The princess smiled, softly, tenderly. Perhaps that was what it truly meant, to “tame” a beast. Perhaps it simply meant that here, with her, he felt no desire to bare his fangs. Here, there was no war, no danger. With her, he could afford to be tame… and so could she.

  4. Heart in a cage. Pulsing. Passion. Rage. Can not, will not, tame.

  5. Purring, she lowered herself onto his lap, her mouth brushing next to his ear, kissing his neck tenderly. He laughed at her, not because it was funny, but because when she was at ease, the whole world seemed to make sense. His contagious laughter bubbled out of her mouth onto his cheek, light and wonderful. Safe. Secure.

  6. tame is friend ship in a different angle
it is loving some one and caring for that one

  8. Things are never tame: animals are never quite tame, people are certainly never tame, and chip and pin devices are positively feral. Everyone has a lion inside them.

  9. i had difficulty thinking of the right word, and was further hindered by time constrain. The right word only came to after the time limit.

  10. Although the lion looked tame, I knew that she was anything but. I eased my way into the ring, sweat beading on my forehead. This was it, either she would eat me alive or the crowd would go wild with my success.

  12. whenever we crossed the street together, she’d wait for the light to turn green. she never crossed on a red light, not once in the two years i’d known her had she committed that sort of gentlemen’s delict. and yet.
she is like a well-groomed cat, living in an elegant mansion. her mannerisms are gracious but when her owner leaves the house, she’ll shamelessly raid the cookie jar.

  14. She was tame to know her, but her spirit was as wild as a cat in the jungle. Should you anger her you would not know it unless you looked into her eyes.

  15. To be able to tame a wild heart, that is a dream that has been in my mind for a long time. To tame my heart that always seem to lose its focus every time I see that guy.

  19. I’m a person
    Not you
    Not her
    Not him
Just me. And if you think you can tame me to be someone I am not then you are mistaken.
I shall not be tamed by you.

  20. Did it shock you to see that your gentle, tame daughter fight back with such a venomous spirit?
Did it rattle your bones enough to make you understand that you cannot dictate my life anymore?
Did it scare you that I raised my voice against your feeble opinions?

If it didn’t, you are dumber than you look, mom.

  21. Try as she might she never managed to tame that mountain. She spent twelve long years labouring, tilling it’s fields and turning its soil, she cleared it of trees and wild beasts. Still it tormented her with its heinous black moods that summoned monsoonal winds and rampaging summer fires that tore up the mountainside so quickly that it took with it her crops and her spirit. In the year of1952 it also took with it the homestead and her beloved Atticus.

  22. Tame the beast inside. Don’t let the anger overcome you. Don’t lash out, lest you hurt anybody. What if you don’t have a beast at all? You’ve tempered yourself to such a point you don’t feel anymore. You lack any desire, passion, and all you do is exist.

  23. Ridiculed by all and severely lampooned by media houses; his life had become hell.
Isn’t it time yet to tame the media moguls who raise a hue and cry over every trivial issue? Pity that all media persons are labelled with the same tag.

  24. The tame mare came forward as I called out.
“Hey girl. how are you doing today. Ya wanna go on a ride, huh?”

    “(Nicker)”

    “OK let’s go!”

    “(Whinnie)”

  25. There is much to be said about the tame. The ones who are easy to control. The ones who do not know they have a voice of their own; and if they do know, they are too afraid to use it. They are the ones you want under your control. They will not fight, They will not resist. I used to be one of those. One of the tame ones. Not anymore.

  27. When I placed the hat upon my head to hide my untamed curls, I never expected to run into Pete. There he was his same old dashing self in his pressed suit with his long wool coat looking like GQ. I hadn’t seen him since the break up and for him to see me in his raiders hat after I told him I couldn’t find it was just what I needed.
“Hey, I see you did find my hat”, he said as he grabbed it off my head, releasing my long locks to tumble out from underneath and down my back. I noticed as they did a warm smile drew across his face. He always did love to play with my hair when it was down.
Slowly he moves his hand to wipe the hair away from my face tucking just a portion behind my ear like he used to. the familiarity of the gesture put me off balancce

  28. She wanted to tame the lion, but the lion would not come near her. She began to wonder if, oddly enough, the beast was more afraid of her than she was of it. For days at a time, she followed the animal around at a short distance, doing her best not to let the engine of her Jeep putter too loudly, or the grass crunch too sharply beneath its massive tires. When night fell, she would turn off her car and simply observe the lion in the starlight. She never moved close to it, nor did it move close to her.

  29. She was wild. She could not be tamed. She looked at me before she left the room and said, ‘This is a very fine game.’

  30. For the first time in my life, I realized I was on a leash. They weren’t trying to tame me– the curfews, the clean language, the restrictions of thought… I was tamed already. The awareness made me want to hurl.

  31. This body wants to rock with you. This body wants to grasp at yours and pull it in. This body wants to move with your movements and sigh with your sighs. It wants to lose itself inside your wicked mind. Play with me. Take me. Tame me.

  32. Reminds me of a joke my Mom used to tell.

How do you catch a unique rabbit?
Unique (you sneak) up on him

How do you catch a tame rabbit?
    Tame (same) way.

  33. the way that I feel about myself. i feel like i have’t been able to jump on any opportunities due an increase in timidity. Tame. the way that i feel in most situations that I know my place and and have been tamed into submission.

  34. I’ve never been more scared in my entire life of one person. …Yet I’m awestruck.

Let me tell you about Missy. She’s the biggest, most rude horse I’ve ever rode in my entire life. The only one to EVER throw me off, and the only one to shatter the bones in my arm in three ways.

But… then they came along. And immediately wanted to ride her. Of course my mother said “Of course, impress the pretty lady”, to which they corrected her. They were nonbinary.

But my mother is transphobic, along with the rest of the country. And as Missy saw Jamie for the first time, she almost understood that Jamie wanted to escape from this world and gave her a moment of peace.

So when I saw Missy riding straight toward me, Jamie yelling as they tried to yank the reigns away, I knew I would break another bone.

But for some reason, I didn’t really mind.

  35. tame is a word frequently use to describe how well an animal tends to react to the general public, or its owners. but i think tame can refer to a whole lot more than just the animals we use it to perceive. we can be tame with one another, and tame with ourself

  36. Perhaps I’ll never know his story, the story of a boy who seemed to be gone in an instant. But, maybe that’s for the better. It all started last summer.

  39. There was something in her eyes that chilled him—a bright, untamable something that he feared would someday take over completely.

  40. I always had sort of a tame attitude towards things. This often serves well, but at times— though they be rare— it does not.

There are people who do not understand kindness, do not react to
politeness, and who insist on belligerence. A tame approach does /not/
    work with them.
