  8. Wildflowers represent many things. My favorite being freedom. I love the idea of being able to just run free and sway in the wind like a wild flower. I want to be like them, almost if it was like i had the freedom to run naked through a field. To feel uninhibited while i run, like a wild flower.

  9. I am a wildflower. I mind my own business and just blow in the breeze. I am surrounded by beauty, but I prefer to stick to myself. I am unassuming in my sameness with the other flowers, but I am wild in my own right.

  12. It reminds me of something I want to be. Something natural, yet rebellious. I’ve always been one to conform to the rules, always follow through with obligations. I’ve never quite taken the time to be myself and do the things I want to do on my own time because I’ve never given myself the liberty. It’s time I wish for it though, and hopefully get it too.

  13. When you go out into the wild, there are many beautiful things, one of which would the simply, the wildflower. But what is it about this we that we find so truly beautiful? Sure it may have a wonderful aroma, or be pleasing to the eye, but more than that, it is the metaphor for freedom. It is surviving and thriving on its own, without the help of anything else. That is the true beauty. True independence.

  15. There was a field that my father’s psychic told him about there was a field with blueberries, blue butterflies, and me, there was a field, under a blue sky, that she knew. She knew she knew it would come to be a blue field with a beautiful blue girl, flitting alongside the rest of the world. The psychic told my father he would have this moment, have it like a child, his child, the daughter that would some day come to live in this moment.

  16. Wildflowers are not stunning or vivid or noticeable. They’re calm, placid, frail little things that tend to get eaten a lot. Yellow and red come to mind… such vibrant colours for s

  18. wildflowers are beautiful. In fact, they are a source of inspiration when you are feeling down. Their colors astound you with their unqiue beauty. Amazingly, there are no two flowers alike. They can be used to cheer someone up on a bad day, as a show of love, and often they are used to decorate the graves of those who have gone on. Interestingly enough, wildflowers mean so much, although we rarely realize it.

  23. She could be called a wildflower because she is so willowy and breezy and you never know where her beautiful, sun-kissed face will next appear. If it will light up a dingy alley, or accent a rainy pier.

  24. Wildflowers remind me of a story about my great grandfather. He was the most amazing man. When he was old and lonely, he would “court” the single older women in town. He picked wildflowers on the side of the road to give to a woman he was interested in. She turned up her nose at this incredibly romantic gesture, because they weren’t store bought roses or jewelry. I think any man who picks wildflowers by the side of the road is worth a dozen men with red roses.

  34. Wildflowers are very super pretty! some are nasty and have lots of bugs on them… and might get up your nose if you smell them too close. Some are stinky… some are sweet… but none are good to eat. I like the piunk ones… though all I find are yellow and white. I like to pick them and toss them in people’s faces…

    by Elliot on 09.14.2008
  35. wildflowers are probably the prettiest flowers. They grow all over the place and don’t usually need any special care. Sometimes they are like weeds and grow in your hair, and then you need to shave your head and throw your hair and the wildflowers at people when they pass by you. Just like mom used to do.

  39. I picked up the beautiful wildflower and placed it close to my lips. I could smell spring contained in the red petals, and understood why Benjamin was always such an avid naturalist. I’d always thought we was just too drugged up to realize what was going on – but now I understood. It was time for me to go back to my roots.
