I am not this girl. I am not so dainty. I am not so sweet. I close my eyes and try to see images of lace and pink. But all I see is me… thirsting for my coffee…
I woke up this morning, and suddenly realized that I had no tea. I searched in vain for that elixir of alertness. Unfortunately, there was none to be had, and I ended by polluting my gastrointestinal tract with coffee.
Yesterday my mom gave me a beautiful teapot from my grandmother. My grandmother died many years ago, and now I wonder if she thinks I was too ungrateful to say thank-you. Too bad my mom forgot to give it to me.

Herbal tea. Reminds me of my sisters. They loved tea, all kinds. But they left for college. And now they have fun and learn things I can’t even dream about now. Without me. I mean its not like they were ever fond of me…but I miss them. They are a comfort to have around, just like a hot cup of herbal tea, with a teaspoon of honey.

is so good, I love it in the morning. I hop out of bed and go straight to the kitchen and put on the kettle. Because I just moved in and haven’t been to the store yes I go nextdoor to my mom’s and steal her milk. I can’t stand plain back tea, I have to have cream and sugar. I just to drink coffee and it had to be Black!!!
My mother loves to drink Red Rose tea and she always gives me the wade figurine out of the box. The series they are doing now is my favorite and, so far, I have the pumpkin and Uncle Sam.

I don’t like tea very much. It is tasteless. I like it if it has lemon in it, or at least sugar. Other sweeteners are fine too. I tend to like the fruity flavors, even if they are faint. I use tea for medicinal purposes as well. Tea can be very healing. Sometimes I will use a strong chamomile brew as eye drops if I think an infection is coming on in my eye. My kids use it too.
