  2. Dusty, behind the refrigerator. It’s the last place I ever look, when cleaning the kitchen, and sometimes I never look at all. One day, the refrigerator stopped working, and I pulled it away from the wall, to find months and months of dust bunnies, dog hair, old dried crumbs of meals past. I decided to sweep.

  10. Chiswick is known for it’s famous dancing sweeper. A happy, black man who did his job as if he never had a deadline, and was very much pleased with this. He was generally considered a bit of a legend.

    I remember reading about how he’d been assaulted in a racially motivated attack. How frustrating.

  12. sweep is what i hope the penguins do to the team they play in the second round of the playoffs. They will be playing the washington capitals.

    Sweeping is a boring chore and I do not like to do it. Although, I do not enjoy walking on floors that have not been swept.

  16. With one sweep of her hand she had undone all that was good in her life. She would live to regret it initially but in the long term it was all meant to be. A clearing out of many of the negative things was long overdue and the timing was in fact perfect though she didn’t see that at the time. Space had been made for changes which would take her forward along her path and while there was a period of grief for all that was gone, she was able to look ahead and move on with a lightness she hadn’t known for a long time.

  20. I hate sweeping! My arms become tired too quickly and I start to get blisters on my hands. It is the most horrible thing ever! That’s one part of my job that I don’t like… ugh, sweeping.

  26. Sweep under the rug, remember not to miss the fridge and dishwasher. Sweeping sucks. I’d rather just vacuum. Or hire someone to do it. Cleaning is definitely not my favorite thing to do. I really wish I were wealthy or had a wife that would just do it all so I wouldn’t have to live in a dirty place and still not have to clean it myself. Wow I’m lazy.

  28. Sweeping a floor. Seems such a simple task, yet can be only accomplished by those with years of experience. One never truly appreciates a clean floor until they’ve seen someone who’s had decades of practice clean a floor. And only until you see the master at their craft, can you appreciate it.

  39. sweeping the floor. piles of animal fur. dust gathering. the dust bunnies have minds of their own. i have thought that since i was young. dust must be scared when it’s swept. It’s probably like a hurricane or something for all of the little dust people. what a travesty.
