  5. There are so many colours, so many variations, and I watch the little dimple form on your forehead as your eyebrows wrinkle, and the frown crosses your face. I know you want a specific colour, so the mending stitch doesn’t show, but I love that dimple.It’s the cutest thing.

    People in this office are NOT specific. They beat around the bush and make up lies to get what they want.
    Listeners are also dumb. They call and say, hey I won a contest. Well, what contest idiot? What is your name? Could you be any LESS SPECIFIC?

  8. I do badly on tests some times for little reasons. SAS is a hard program I have to work hard to stay in. In the tests all the answers are specific. We must learn like every detail specifically. Our teachers don’t accept late work, only on the specific day the assignment is due. I know I have to keep up the good work and even work harder to get what I want in life.
    Math is a subject where we have to get a specific answer. And it must be correct. Our teacher is super strict. I don’t like strict people that much but I kind of do because they teach me to do it right the first time. My report cards sometimes don’t come out specifically how I want them to be but I know how to get them up. Like right now, I have to raise my grades.

  14. i went shopping for a car one day-i was picking the car i wanted to get for my 16th birthday. i went to talk to the salesman. he greeted me really nice and a smile was across his face the whole time. he asked me what kind of car i wanted. the first answer that popped into my head was fast, comfortable, and luxurious.

    “anything specific?” He asked. I shook my head. I wanted to see all the variety of cars. he took me into the parking lot, in which he had all the cars…woah there were too many! maybe i should have said something specific…

  15. i want to be specific when i’m writing. like i know what i’m writing about and maybe i’ve been there before of i have a certain sense about what i’m writing about. like i know all of the details. what it smells like, and what it would taste like, and how you would react, or maybe what you’re already thinking. i think that being specific is the best way to write. the only way. the true way. be specific, be honest.

  17. something that is bad. reminds me of the ocean. to be specific is to clarify but clarity is not always the best solution. we need to have room to grow and interpret for ourselves. its limiting. a world with less specificty would be a better place.

    I voted for Obama because it sounded like he had a really great plan. Something to really change this world.

    Now, when it comes time to be specific with his plan, I’m wondering where’s going with all of this.

  28. I hate this word because it is a form of narrow mindedness, to be specfic is to limit yourself to one particular area or concept. It helps define, but hinders understanding, which is all definitions are useful for anyway. This word is pointless like everything else.

  36. Some times you need to make sure you are very specific in what you wish for, or it can go horribly wrong. For instance, if you wish for unlimited money, you need to make sure you say in what form and where it comes from, like, “I wish I had a VISA gift card with unlimited funds on it” or you could end up with a house full of cash from Iran which is both useless and hard to get through to go to sleep.
