  1. The sheets were crisp, and clean, and smelled of the freshest of air. The chances of me leaving that bed anytime soon were as thin as the threads of those sheets.

    by PamPam on 12.15.2010
  2. I have found that sheets are better when they have a high thread count. This is important because when I am having happy time I like to feel that soft cool fabric on my back as I do the deeds of so many before and many after. It is joy and sorrow and love all rolled together in a crumpled mess.

    by Robert on 12.15.2010
  3. Eric furiously pulled at the sheets until they tumbled off the washing line. The little boy dragged them across the lawn and left them in the mud of the recently dug vegetable patch. That would teach them.

  4. I tried spreading the sheets on my new bed. Every time I flipped the sheet in the air and spread it, some part of it still remained crumpled and that part of the bed remained uncovered. I tried it thrice. Then four times. No change. It kept me wondering, if the bed was bigger or the sheet didn’t want to cover it.

  5. the sheets where blowing in the breezed and were like flags on a sailing ship that I had once seen on the seas. It made me think of the maiden voyages to the americas

  6. I just finished an engineering exam. 15 sheets of absolute confusion. The problem is I prepared for exactly the wrong things. Maybe I should have paid more attention in class. Or maybe I should switch to studying english. Whatever the result, I’ll console myself with energy drinks and crackers, since I still have 2 exams today.

  7. Well what can i say but i like to use sheets to wrap you up in.
Not in a snuggely kind of way sort of like a death shroud , but you’d be alive .

I kid of course . But i love sheets of toiletpaper.

    by Mr_Lament on 12.15.2010
  8. I love the feel of newly washed sheets on my bed! The best is when they have just come right out of the dryer. (I hate wrinkled sheets that sat in the dryer for days without being folded.) When we have clean sheets we call it “hotel night.”

  9. He pulled up the sheets in his bed, and thought about the long day ahead of him. He did not want to get up. he pressed the snooze button on his alarm and flopped back on his stomach.

  10. Paper or on the bed. Or maybe both. I once saw an art exhibit in which thin sheets of rice paper were slowly dropped from the ceiling of a huge empty warehouse. The exhibit lasted several weeks so by the end, there was paper up to your knees. Everyone walked through it quietly, with only the swish swish swish and crumble of soft paper.

  11. I wanna wrap myself up in my sheets and sleep forever. At least in dreams everything seems perfect, or as close to it as I’ll ever get. It’s always a shock when I wake up and realize the dreams were only just.

  12. Here’s the politer version:

Well he was three sheets to the wind I can tell you. I don’t even know how he got on the plane.

    What happened?

Mate you do not want to know. He gets really nervous flying? And all that Ch**** didn’t help one bit.

Wehn the steward came round and told him to put his seatbelt on, he called him some horrible name in Russian. Trouble was the steward was Russian too. Clouted him over the head with a coffee pot.

Complete and utter f********* mayhem, mate.

    What happened?

Mate you do not want to know. He gets really nervous flying? And all that charlie did not help one little bit.

So when the steward came round to tell him to put his seatbelt on he only went and called him some horrible name in Russian. Trouble was the steward was Russian too. Goes and clouts him over the head with a coffee pot.

Complete and utter fucking mayhem, mate.

  14. Worksheets. Bedsheets. Sheets and sheets of paper on my table during exams. Clustering. Here and there. It’s a mountain of sheets of paper. Life is so dull. Mundane and dull. Sigh.

    by Hili on 12.15.2010
  16. I love nice clean, white fine cotton sheets. I love the feeling of slipping into bed when the sheet is cold and wishing it wasn’t. I enjoy the fact that it warms up within a few minutes. The nicest feeling in the world is when the sheets have been dried that day on a washing line and they smell of the outdoors.

  17. I love to be between them when I’m tired. Cool in summer, warm in winter.
Tonight I’ll meet you again. Will someone join me?
Around me there are al ot on the table

  20. the girl had new sheets. she’d never felt so clean. now that they were here, she felt safe again. like nothing could ever harm her. she was safe here. she would always be safe between these clean, white fresh sheets. no-one would touch her again. the girl could finally put her name down – she wrote it in a hundred different colours, in a million different ways, all over those white bedsheets: Rosie.

    by Chris Huff on 12.15.2010
  24. Chaotic, out of control, she veered towards each of the points of the compass without grace or poise, desperately trying to find a hold on her spatial reality. Water may be our life force, but frozen sheets of ice can really mess with the natural balance.

  25. Life without sheets, is something that I could not possibly think of right now. I love cotton sheets, pastel colours, especially blues, greens and could not possibly sleep on anything other than cotton, silky sheets not my style.

  28. There were sheets of blank paper just waiting to be filled with wonderful words and insights but they remained blank. I sat with pen poised waiting for inspiration to strike and waited and waited. Then I decided I don’t need to fill those pages , I just have to start with one sentence, no just one word and so I began….Hi

  29. Sheets are usually what you would find on a bed. My bed, as of right now, features a white sheet, made of what I can only assume is satin. Who knows, though, it might be made of wool. I have no idea. But that’s not important. Sheets could also refer to a lot of other things. For example, glass, paper, and many other things.

  30. Sheets are not only the items of linen which we sleep upon, but are the sailing word for the sails which drive a boat. Sheets can also be the paper upon which we write. All of these may open us to new worlds of experience!

    by David on 12.15.2010
  31. I clean my sheets. I keep them white. They get so dirty sometimes. But the stains match the sheets so I don’t worry. My sheets get covered in crumbs ffrom all the food I eat. They also get wet when I drool onto them. My sheets take all the pain that I provide when I want to do something dirty. Thank you sheets.

  32. sheets can either suck or they can be completely awesome.. some are soft and cozy, like the ones you want to lay in on a really cold winter day, or some are just like hard and scratchy… the kind you want to keep washing in hopes of them getting softer. some sheets are made to make you feel good when your with them with someone else.

  40. they lay atop my bed and sometimes get wet. The keep me warm at night and also keep my sweaty body from sticking to my girlfriend. The guy on trainspotting shit the sheets and the sheet shit ended up all over the kitchen table. Poor sheet shit family. Sheets are made of a variety of materials… woodchips, bark, squirrels, panthers, egg shells, doorknobs and the likes of eddie murphy. I hate eddie murphy sheets they aren’t funny anymore. I guess you can also have sheets of glass and sheets of bread in the morning. One of the most interesting sheets I’ve encountered are sheets of plywood cause they can be used to build houses for sex only clubs. sheet has the word she in it and it also has the mispelled word eat “eet” and we all love to eat don’t we. that is prudent information indeed.
