  29. I jumped on the rocket ship just before blast of and it shot itself into the atmosphere, leaving clouds of dust in its wake. It was amazing feeling, gravity being taken from you, pulled from your fingertips. I’d never been in a rocket ship before, but it felt just like an airplane. A fluttering feeling in my stomach presented itself and I felt my hand raise to my heart, to feel the pounding in my chest. It was exciting, watching the world I was once a part of move so far away, it felt like I was losing something, but It was still with me.

  35. It flew off, jetting, into the sky with a flare below that blinded the audience. They all stared in amazement until they realized, finally, that the small figure attached to its side was writhing in panic. “Michelle!!!” A man watching screamed, and the shriek echoed from the sky. They all began to panic in a swarming mass of chaos as the controllers scrambled, searching for some sort of button or switch to stop the rocket. Nothing was working. Finally, they discovered a control panel and cut off all services for the rocket. It plummeted back to earth after hours and hours, and they all crowded around it. Machinery was used to turn it over, revealing the rope which had tied the small girl to it. The rope traced to empty air; Michelle had disappeared.

  36. I like rockets. Like the rocket slide at the park. It leaves you wishing you could sail to the moon. I sometimes wonder if I’ll ever travel that far in my lifetime. I don’t want to be stuck where I am now. It makes me unhappy to think of a life without adventure and new things.

What would it be like to be next to a star?
