Reports are sometimes hard to write. You need to have a good model to do them correctly. I do not like to write reports but when they are done I always feel good about the accomplishment.
I have failed to see the meaning of today’s report he has bought me. I think it was far beyond my understanding ability. I guess he is far wiser than I’ll ever be, yet I’ll take another look at his reports later today.
Right now I need a break.
The reports on the television have the same ending every day. Genocide in Darfur, terrible dictator in Iraq., North Korea attacks South Korea. But these aren’t the endings, these are the stories. It’s the repetitive ending that truly terrifies me.
The reports on my desk are a priority. But I need to meditate on other things. Can I subside the thoughts of her, my life and the deep rooted sadness long enough to finish these reports? I need to get them done…
A report is only helpful if something will be done with it. If nothing is implemented using the findings, it’s useless. That’s why people find writing reports boring. We all know nothing’s coming out it!
Thin white envelopes, the name of your parents typed across the front, the flap glued, of course it could be opened, though most kids held theirs to the light, and prayed. I hold it to my nose. Does it smell of school? Sour milk. Varnish, The pipe tobacco in the headmaster’s office, sitting like a fat woody cloud. I fold the envelope into my pocket. All the way home it feels like a brick and I’m drowning.
YUCK! I hate reports. I don’t know why,but I just do. I think that it might be that I don’t like people reading what I write because I don’t take criticism very well.
The reports were too long and made her eyes blur as she tried to comprehend what the graphs and charts meant. Most days she cared, but after what she’d seen today, having the charred flesh and severed limbs condensed down to Times New Roman and pie charts was too much.
Maybe she’d go out in the field again – if she could just stop having the nightmares.
when i was little I used to get in trouble a llot and all the reports that my teachers would write about me i had to read and they were horible and they scared me for life. I must have been a real aweful kid for people to actually think that kind of stuff about it. I have really bad memories of being written up and being super embaraased that my mom had to read them. This one time aparently I was making fun of physically and mentally handicap people (whch i know I wasn’t at all) i have no idea where that came from and I had to agree tha I was making inapropriate slurs. Which i sat there confiused not having any Idea what a slur was and I still get sick to my stomach thinking about how the utter embarassment still haunts me even though no one including my mom probably has any recolection from those 10 years ago.
the doctor enters into the cold room to adress to me the reports that no one wants to hear. he looks at me with sad eyes that should belong to a child. “Mrs. Collins, you only have 30 days to live.”
I have to fill outré reports for my principal. We get reports on istep. Students get report cards four times a year. The education commission wrote a report on what works in education.

I’ve always had to write reports for school. I never necessarily found it difficult, I just found it frustrating. I was too lazy most of the time. I didn’t want to write these extremely long mundane essays on camels or starving children in a 3 world country. I wanted to write fiction, pure fictional stories & fictional lives. I felt as though I was wasting my time, I wasn’t writing a book.
reports are formal assessments of an event or occurance. However, one can report on just about anything. It may be an school report, or a correspondence by a journalist. What ever you may be reporting on, we all agree it should be accurate. This is my report.

There have been many other types of reports in my life since then, but for the most part I have a positive feeling about the word. I loved reading and still l do, so book reports were a favorite part of my early learning experience.

I hated writing research papers in college, well in general, and I always put them off as long as possible. Give me an essay assignment as big as you want, but require the research paper process and I wanted to lay in traffic. In high school we always just called them “reports”. That word has lost the ability to do anything but remind me of my hatred for notecards, outlines, citations, and MLA.
There were the skies above and the river flowing at the bottom of the fields – the mountains contained her horizon at the back of the house – travellers told of skies and lands of different hue but these were tales and the old folk told tales there was little there to interest a modern woman such as she.
it was her job. she filed reports to things that happened. it was fun for a while, to see all the things people did, all the adventures they got to, knowing they had a happy ending. but after a while she got tiered, she wanted to be out there, she wanted to be the one having those adventures
