  18. Pride is the downfall of almost all civilization. The betterment of one country ends in the destruction of another. Pride is no longer a commodity worth keeping. At the sake of the world today, being proud isn’t worth the loss of humanity it causes each and every time a nation says “We’re better than you.”

  37. its good to feel proud about where you come from
pride is a source of history, pride is a bond with what has come before you, and what you represent. however pride can also be a divisive force, because to be proud of what you come from can also mean that you might believe it the superior circumstance. along with pride we must learn to understand, to realize that while we can be and should be proud of who and what we are, that our origins ultimately are all common.
